I'm on the phone with Scotty as I'm getting ready for work.

Scotty- you feeling any better?
Me- no. Still hate myself, still angry and depressed. The only thing keeping me sane is work and my friends.
Scotty- he called me.
Me- what?
Scotty- Theo called me last night.
Me- what did you say to him?
Scotty- I yelled at him for an hour.
Me- you didn't.
Scotty- I did.
Me- Scotty...
Scotty- he cheated on you D! He deserves to be yelled at. He's lucky that I didn't get on a plane to Seattle and beat his ass in person. Nobody hurts my best friend and gets away with it.
Me- you're a psycho and I love you.
Scotty- I love you too. Now, get to work and be a surgeon stupid face.
Me- wow, how sweet of you.
Scotty- call me later.
Me- love you dumb head.

I hang up on Scotty then I grab my things and drive to work. As I'm driving to work, I get a call from Theo. I guess I forgot to block his number after we broke up. I decline the call as I pull into the parking lot. I bolt to the locker room where I'm greeted by my friends.

Delilah: hey guys!

They all say hey and I give the boys a kiss before changing into my scrubs.

Alex: you alright?
Delilah: ahhh... just a little thrown off. Theo actually—

Then, my phone starts ringing again. It's another call from Theo.

Delilah: is calling me right now... I'm just gonna—

I was about to decline the call when Alex swipes my phone and answers the call.

Alex: listen here you brainless, cheating bastard. You made the dumb mistake of letting go of possibly the most pure hearted, selfless, beautiful girl anyone could ever meet and you're paying for your mistakes.

George swipes my phone from Alex and takes over.

George: Delilah Shepherd is every guy's dream girl. She's kind, smart, funny, talented, beautiful in every way and so much more.

There was a pause.

George: not that it's any of your business, but Alex Karev and I are Delilah's best friends. Delilah is our family and as her family, it's our job to protect our sister.

Alex takes my phone back.

Alex: so do her and all of us a favour and stay the hell away from her because if you don't, you're going to regret it.

Alex hangs up and hands me my phone back. I look at my best friends in total shock.

Delilah: you... you didn't have to—
George: he needs to know that you're done with him.
Alex: he broke your heart, he doesn't deserve your forgiveness.
George: you're our family, we protect our family.

I felt tears well up in my eyes as I look at my friends.

Delilah: I don't deserve you boys.

I pull Alex and George into a hug. I can't imagine my life without my boys.

Delilah: I love you boys.
Alex: alright, enough of this mushy crap. We need to do rounds.

I chuckle at Alex as I wrap my arm around Alex's shoulders.

Delilah: there he is.

We walk out of the locker room then meet up with Bailey to do rounds.

Meredith: so, how's Burke doing?
Cristina: I don't know.
George: she doesn't know.
Alex: he just had surgery yesterday and you don't know how he's doing?
M&D: they're not speaking.
Izzie: I thought they made up.
Meredith: they did...
Delilah: sort of.
Izzie: but she's still not speaking to him?
Cristina: he's not speaking to me.
Meredith: they're not speaking to each other.
Izzie: okay.
Cristina: did one of you ask Derek about Burke's hand?
Meredith: I don't want to get in the middle of it. Derek and I are happy. Can we just keep it that way for a while.
Delilah: and I don't want to ask my dad about Burke.
Izzie: you know, you could always just swallow your pride and ask him yourself.
Alex: her gut's not big enough for that.
