I'm walking around the hospital with Jackson.

Delilah: April's coming in tonight, right?
Jackson: yeah she is.
Delilah: are we doing a thing tonight?
Jackson: not sure princess.

Just then, we find Dylan with Callie and Owen.

Delilah: hey you! April's coming in tonight. You excited to see her? When is she coming in?
Dylan: don't know.
Jackson: then what time is the thing?
Dylan: there is no thing!

My eyes widen as Dylan walks off.

Callie: should we clear trauma one to remove the giant bug from Hudson's ass? Dang.

Owen and I chuckle as Callie walks off.

Owen: hey, I need some advice and I trust you to be honest with me.
Delilah: what's up?
Owen: I got tickets for this concert thing, and I'm thinking about asking Amelia, but she and I– we don't really go to things together. Not that we couldn't, but... should I, you know, ask her out? What do you think?
Delilah: okay. First off, I think you're overthinking. And second off, I don't think I'm the best person to talk to about Amy considering the fact that she basically hates me.
Owen: oh come on Del, she doesn't hate you.
Delilah: I neglected to tell her that her brother had died. She hates me.
Owen: she doesn't hate you Lilah, you're overthinking it. You just need to talk to her.

I sigh as I lean my head on Owen's shoulder.

Delilah: I hope you're right.

Owen rests his head on top of mine for comfort.

Jackson: you're late.

I turn around to see Wilson walking into the ER in her street clothes.

Jo: I know, I'm sorry. I got stuck behind a train that just stopped forever. I mean, I finally turned around but they shouldn't be allowed to do that, right, just stop on the tracks?
Jackson: I really don't care, okay? You missed rounds.
Jo: it's irresponsible is what it is, of the train.
Ben: two pedestrians were hit by a train?

I turn my head towards Ben with wide eyes.

Jo: what?
Delilah: oh my god. Are they alive?
Ben: yeah, uh... two girls were hit by a train on their way to school. Kids. Um...
Delilah: oh my god.
Ben: they're just kids.

Owen and I run out to the ambulance bay and wait for the ambulances to come in.

Delilah: talk to me Nicole.
Nicole: Jessica Tanner, 15 years old. Moving train swiped her, then tossed her down the embankment. GCS is 15. Pressure's 100 palp. Right side room all the brunt. One big bruise.
Jessica: there's a shortcut to– to school. I-I take it every day over... the tracks.
Delilah: she's tachy at 120.
Callie: alright, I'm gonna need a Doppler to check these extremities for pulses.
Jessica: I-I-I tripped. You know, my foot– it got stuck in between the tracks.
Callie: shh, shh, shh. Try to stay calm Jess.
Jessica: have you seen the other girl? She... she just showed up out of nowhere. She– she tried to push me out of the way.
Intern: uh, uh, uh, somebody?! I'm not sure what to do here!

Owen and I run over to the other girl and I see that her leg was twisted in the worst position possible.

Owen: help get the other patient inside.
Delilah: go! Callie.

We start wheeling the girl inside and get her into a trauma room. I page Meredith then start working on her.

Meredith: where do you need me?
Delilah: she needs an ex-lap.
Owen: one of her legs was ripped completely away from the other.
Callie: she has a wishbone injury. The force of the train broke her pelvis and split her insides apart. I'm gonna need to stabilize her pelvis and extremities, but not before you guys address her internal injuries.
Amy: pupillary reflexes are sluggish.
Delilah: she's gonna need a head CT to rule out a traumatic brain injury.
Callie: alright, you got a name for me yet?
Cross: uh, no, but I found some textbooks. Sophomore, junior maybe. I'm guessing she's about 16 years old—
Meredith: okay, hang on, hang on.
