A woman with the body of a spider?

"Step back, slowly. This one is sensitive to sound" he whispered as he walked in front of me, shielding me from the giant spider.

Oh my god.

'creak!'

Agad akong napahinto dahil sa tunog na galing sa likod ko. I stepped something from behind me.

'kkkkrrrrrrrrrrr!'

I took a step back when it let out a loud scream. Before i knew it, Loki is hugging me, covering me from the strong wind and loud noise made by the spider.

Ilang segundo ang tinagal bago nawala ang tunog.

"Argh! What was that?" the loud scream made me dizzy.

'krriiee!'

'krriiee!'

"Run!"

Huh?

Agad niyang hinawakan ang kamay ko bago tumakbo palayo. I looked back only to see the spider running towards us with it's screeching sound like it's angry and piercing eyes glaring at us.

"Blaze!" Where the heck is he?

"Blaaaaaaze!" Damn it. Why isn't he responding!

I looked back again only to see something purple and shiny coming out  from the mouth of the spider.

"Loki!" Agad siyang napahinto bago ako kinabig palapit sa kanya.

"Ack!"

Napapikit nalang ako nang bumagsak kami sa lapag. Mabilis akong tumayo ang hinarap ang lumabas sa bibig niya. A spider web with a dipping purple liquid sticking in the rock wall of the cave.

"Do you have any poison resistance? Potion?"

'kkkkrrrrrrrrrrr!'

She's coming!

"No? Why?"

"We're doom" huh?

"Wai-wait!" He carried me like a sack of rice before running away. I've never been carried like this in my entire life. What a gentleman.

"You're too slow!" Oh my gosh. Malapit na siya.

"Loki! She's coming!" Sobrang bilis niya.

"Damn it!" I forgot i have Dromir inside of me.

'wind slash!'

I used a wind slash pero umilag lang siya. Oh, right, i forgot. Spiders can crawl even on the ceiling.

"Keep shooting!"

I keep using a wind slash pero sobrang likot niya.

"How do you kill this thing! It's moving around too fast!"

"For goodness sake!" Agad siyang huminto bago ako ilapag. I looked at my back only to see a cliff behind me.

So that's why he stopped. We're on the edge.

"Hide" huh?

"I'll deal with this thing. It's poisonous"

"Wai-wait! Loki!" And there he goes, leaving me. Nice talking.

'krriiee!'

'krriiee!'

Agad akong napatingin sa itaas ko nang makita ang mga insekto.

Giant insects?

Oh shoot!

"Oh no" i guess I'll have to fight after all.

"Come, you little piece of sh---insects!"

I only came here for treasures, not to fight this godforsaken insects!

'kkkrrrrr!'

Okay. What should i take?

I don't know what to take in any of this treasure. I left them so that i can get some of the treasures for Red, but i don't know what i should take.

Hmm. Humans takes fancy on any shiny and valuable things. Red needed the money to support herself since she has no one to take care of her in this world.

It was a shocking revelation for me to find out that she is not from this world. I never thought other worlds exist. I know there are portals and gatekeeper, but i thought they only used it to cross in different countries. I never thought there's a gate to another world.

Anyway.

I grabbed golden coins i could find. There are also different kinds of potions and valuable items that can be traded and sell.

All of this treasures i found lying anywhere in this cave. The people entered here didn't come out alive and were killed by beasts, leaving their belongings everywhere.

"Okay. That's it" the bag are full. I think it's enough to sustain Red for a couple of months.

'......!'

Hm?

Something's wrong.

I can't connect with Red. Something is interfering with my connection with her. Something's not right.

'zit!' 'zit!'

I took a glance behind me, hearing a rattle sound and all sort of noises.

'Bbzzzzz!'

A bunch of large insects crawling everywhere like it's running away from something.

I transformed and blew fire on them. They're getting in my way so i have no choice but to eliminate them.

It didn't take long for me to eliminate them since they are just a minor and weak insects.

"Why are you running away?" since i still have time, i followed the path to where the insects are coming out to.

It didn't take long for me to find the cause of all this commotion. A large space occupied by several webs scattered everywhere and a massive bulk size of web hanging from the ceiling.

Is that...?

"This is not good" the eggs are glowing and it will be a matter of time before the spiders are born.

"Ah. I forgot. The Tanua Queen is awake...and it's hungry"

It seems like Tanua Queen territorialize half of the cave with it's children...again.

By the size of it? Even the three of us can't take them all out. It's triple the size compared to last time.

This...is real trouble.
