" Tonight's the night! The new frozen yogurt shop is opening! Fifty-two flavors and four of them are sugar-free. " he smiled at us around the table Bree and I were sitting around. Bree gave him a look "Oh, who are you kidding? You passed out the first time Dawn made you discovered nail polish."

" I've heard of those yogurt places. " Adam started, walking up to us. "They get you by charging extra for toppings. So, I'm bringing my own." Adam said as he unzips his jacket to reveal various bags of toppings. "You don't even wanna know what's in my pants." He smirked as we cringed. He slapped his pants pocket and he screeched "Aah! Ooh! Hot butterscotch! Ooh!"
I smirked "I'm guessing butterscotch."
"Sorry, you guys are coming home straight after school. So no flavors, no froyo, no hanging with the bros, peeps, and homies." Donald parented.
Bree raised her eyebrows "'Bros, peeps, and homies'? Don't. Just... no."
"What's got you so grouchy? They run out of human footstools at the rich-guy club?"

" Did you forget your little buddy Marcus found the lab yesterday? He could've discovered our bionic secret."
"Oh!" Bree stood up "Okay, so it's our fault that your million-dollar smart home system didn't stop him?" Bree replied back, making a good point.
"Don't go there, super girl. I was getting my beauty sleep. Something you might want to look into." Eddy barked making the boys and I yelp at the remark.
"Ho-ho!"
"Ooh!"
"Good one"
"Look, it doesn't matter whose fault it was, even though--" he stopped as he pointed at Leo and me "-- certain someone's were supposed to be watching him."
" I was in the bathroom." I scoffed.
"Well, technically--" he points to Donald, referring to himself as third-person "someone pulled Leo away, letting Marcus roam free."

"Guys, I think you're talking about each other."
"Bottom line, I am keeping a tighter leash on you three. And Leo, Dawn, because I can't always be there, you have to step it up and do a better job of watching out for them."
"Don't worry Big D. As you know I'm always a woman on a mission." I stare into the distance, my hands on my hips. Kinda wish I had a fan right now.
"No problem, Big D. I may have let one goon get too close, but I won't let any more Marcuses slip through the cracks. From now on you can call me the enforcer!" Leo gleamed.
...

"The hammer is down, people." Leo paced in front of them and stopped in front of them when 'ordering' them "No more talking to boys, no more talking to girls, no more helping old ladies to their cars!" Leo ordered, stopping in front of Chase.
"I was helping your grandmother." Chase said.

"Trust no one!" He got into his face. Okay, he's getting paranoid. My dad ran in excitedly, waving his arms. " It's here! It's here! It's here! It's here! It's here! It's here!"
"What? What is it?" Bree questioned.
"Whatever it is, I hope it came with a big box of masculinity, 'cause I never want to see that again." Eddy said and for once in my life, I agreed with him.
Donald waved us over "Just come here!"

We followed him to the garage where the most beautiful car I've ever seen, laid.
"Meet the world's first self-driving car, designed by yours truly. That's right, just when you thought I couldn't get more awesome, boom! I got more awesome!" He bragged and did finger guns. "And, boom! I still want to be dropped off a block away from school." Bree mimicked him.
" So how does this thing drive itself?" I asked, amazed.
