"Prepare yourself, dingoes! It's time for my annual fitness challenge week! This year, forget about push-ups and sit-ups. It's time for bruises, sprains, and freak accidents! I present the Death Spiral Smackdown!" Perry shouted, revealing the spiral.
"Well, say what you will about her, but she knows how to bring the sizzle." Adam said.
"Why do you call it the Death Spiral? I mean...doesn't look so scary to me." Leo said, unfazed.
I scoffed at Leo and muttered. "Just wait and see."
"Why don't I have vice-principal Cochran demonstrate for you?" Perry grabbed the vice principal from the collar and made him stand in the middle of the spiral. She pressed a button from her remote which, as a result made it turn and fell. She cackled at the sight of him in pain, excited for what her students are up against. She turned up the power to make it spin even faster. Honestly, it's making me dizzy. Suddenly, the speed made him fall off the spiral and his body smacked against the chairs. Leo, Adam and I stared in shock. "It's not broken! Walk it off!"
"Wait, s-so how does it work?" Adam stuttered walking over to Perry.
"You wrestle your opponent as it spins you silly. It'll test your strength, reflexes, and ability to hold your bladder against centrifugal force! Hahaha!" she cackled.
"What do you think, Leo? Can you handle it?" Gordo, Leo's friend asked.
"Well, my bladder's strong, but just to be safe, I'm sticking to dark gym shorts."
"I, myself will be wearing a full-body diaper. In the face of fear, you'll never know where you're gonna leak from." Gordo said. What conversation have I gotten myself into?
"If you have the guts, partner up, and choose carefully. Your survival depends on the decision you make, and there are very few good options! Hahahahaha!!" I swear that woman is crazy.
"Well, Leo, every year we lose the fitness challenge, but this year, we're gonna do it in style. I don't want to brag, but... I totally earned the Sewing Merit badge." Gordo says handing him a similar green cape he was wearing.
"Listen, Gordo, I don't want to have a cape. I want to be a winner, so this year, we're going in a different direction."
"We are?" "You are?" we questioned. I, myself was confused as knowing Leo he never does anything alone, and when he does he screws it up. Not to mention, to take part in the death spiral smackdown you kinda need a partner to win. Who's Leo going to have as a partner instead of Gordo?
"Yes. But by 'we', I mean not you. I'm going with someone else."
"Oh. I see. That's okay because most of the school would give their right hand to be my partner." He tried proving his point by turning back looking for a partner but the other students immediately dispersed noticing his stare.
