We were in the cafeteria about to eat our food when Perry walked in. "Greetings, puke puddles! Tomorrow is yearbook photo day and, while I'm not sure why anyone would want a record of this awkward phase of your lives--" She paused as she looked at a boy who was sitting down. He looked up towards her, wondering why she stopped talking and she cringed and looked away because of his pimples. "-Ugh-- I'll be your photographer. Oh, and don't blink, 'cause homie don't do retakes! Ha ha!" She cackled and left. "Well, that settles that. I am so getting my hair done right after school." Bree turned to us. "Oh! Can you bring me back some clippings off the floor? I need 'em to finish building my 'Taj Mahair.'" He placed it on the table and I made sure my plate was far away from his project. "Where did all of that hair come from?" I asked as I popped a grape in my mouth. "Pets, shower drains, brushes-- If you want it, you can get it."

"Well, that is disgusting." Bree stated. "Yeah. Well, if you think that's gross, wait until you see 'Buckinghair Palace.'" "Why are you so concerned about a stupid yearbook photo?" Leo asked as Adam put his project down onto the floor and Chase walked towards us, standing behind Bree. " I am still trying to live down last year's picture when I wasn't ready for the flash and my eyes glitched." She held her yearbook photo from last year and she kinds looked like a zombie. Adam, Chase and I cringed as we looked at the picture. "Ughh."

"Bree, your zombie picture was the least of the problems with the yearbook. Perry photo-bombed every group picture. Drama club..." Bree flipped the page to that. "Cheerleaders..." She flipped another page. "Swim team--" "No!" Leo snapped, closing the book. "No, no, no! None of us need to see that again."

"Again?" I asked, raising my eyebrows. Leo nodded as his eyes widened, making me think he saw something he shouldn't have, resulting him being traumatized. The bell rang and we were going to our classes when we saw Trent and his friends all in position. "Move thirty-two! Hut! Hut!" A football player passed the ball to Trent as he threw it across the room as students moved past us to get to their classes. "Yeah! Boom! Yeah!"
"Trent, what are you doing?" Chase asked him. "Using football practice as an excuse to knock over innocent bystanders." He smiled but I was confused. "But it's not even football season."
"True, but it's always tackling season. Heads up!" He threw the ball towards Leo and he caught it but then as he looked up, he screamed and tried to hide his face behind the ball as Trent's friends ran towards him and tackled him to the ground, making me cringe. His friends got up and left as Trent walked up to him and held his hand. "Let me help you up." " Yeah, right. I'm not falling for that." Leo glared. "Oh, don't worry. I'm only being nice 'cause I need something." He lifted up to his feet and turned to us, putting a hand on Chase's shoulder. "You guys...are gonna help me past my history test."
"You don't even take history. The only class you have left is physics." "And since when do you care about taking tests?" I scoffed. "There is a lot about me you don't know. I have many layers. I am very dense." He defended himself. "Hmm. Yes. Yes, you are." Chase smiled at him, making me giggle. "Look, Perry says I can't fail again." "Oh, but you can. It's kinda your thing." I snickered. "Come on," Trent whined. "There's gotta be some kind of trick. Like, what's that thing you do that makes you pass tests?" "Oh, I know this one!" I yelled but then paused and shrugged. "Yeah, don't know this one."
"It's called studying." Leo filled in, rolling his eyes at me and me nodded my head at the answer I was looking for. Trent narrowed his eyes at the answer. "What else you got?" "How about this?" Leo tried to reason. "We help you pass and you move football practice back outside."
"Yeah. I guess I could do that." He smiled, patting Leo's chest and walked away towards his friends. "Hmm. That was easy." Chase commented and Leo nodded his head. I narrowed my eyes. "Too easy..." "Come on, guys, we're taking this outside. And we're gonna need some tackling dummies..." He trailed, turning to...us. They grabbed us and put us onto their shoulder making us scream in fear. My scream was more out of annoyance.
...
We just got back from school and we had to figure out a way to help Trent. "Man, I can't stand Trent. Why do we have to help him pass his test?" "Yeah, why can't you help him pass the test?" I asked and he glared at me. "What? Smartest guy in the world. You help him and let us - " I pointed between me and Leo "-live Trent free."
