Today was the day I finally went on a mission with the trio. At first, it was terrifying trying to control my bionics, but with a little help from Chase, I got the hang of it—and after that, it was awesome! We stepped back into the lab, fresh from the mission, and I grinned at Donald. "Mission accomplished."

"Great job, guys. You saved that island from the biggest tropical storm in decades. And Dawn—awesome job!" He gave me a high-five, his smile full of genuine appreciation. "And lucky for you, I brought back a whole bag of hairy fruit." Adam added, dumping a pile onto the console. "Yeah, just be glad I made him put the pelican back." Bree sighed in annoyance once she saw Leo's facial expression while he gave her a confused look, attempting to bite straight into one of the fruits. "Guys, that mission was the finest use of bionics to date." Donald said proudly. "I think we can all agree—strength plus speed equals success." He pointed at Adam and Bree as they high-fived in a celebratory manner.

"Uh, uh—excuse me." Chase cut in, stepping forward. "Let's not forget the mastermind behind this entire thing." "Oh, right." Adam said, casually slinging an arm around Bree. "Let's give it up for our fearless leader..." Chase's face lit up—until Adam turned toward Donald. "...Mr. Davenport! Whoo!" The smile dropped instantly. Bree clapped, and Donald high-fived them both while Chase stood there, completely robbed of his moment. "What? No! I was talking about me! I supervised the whole mission!" Chase protested.

"Yeah." I added, nodding. "Without him, I wouldn't have been able to use my powers right." "Yeah, but I think we all know who did the heavy lifting." Adam said dismissively, still clutching the fruit. "I'll give you a hint: starts with an 'A,' ends with an 'M,' big 'da' in the middle..."

Silence fell. No one said a word as Chase just stared daggers at him. "...Okay, guys. It's me." He grinned and tried again to bite into the coconut. "Please. The real work happened up here." Chase scoffed, tapping his head. "Guys, no offense—" Bree added, intervening. "—but your bionic brain is no match for our hustle—"

"—and muscle." Adam finished, flexing. "Yawn." I muttered, unimpressed, earning an eye roll from my sister. "Ooh, that's a great team name!" Donald lit up. "Hustle, Muscle, Ch... uscle and D... uscle." He pointed at each of us, faltering when he got to me and Chase. "Mm. Don't worry, we'll find you an 'ustle.'"

Chase stared at them like they'd lost their minds before turning toward Donald. "I'm so tired of those two getting all the attention just because they have super speed and super strength. I never get any credit."

I didn't say it out loud, but... he had a point. "That's not true, Chase." Donald said quickly. "They've got flash, sure—but you're the glue that holds that flash together. You're..." He hesitated, searching for the right words. "...flash glue. And Dawn, you just started. We'll find you an 'ustle.'"

"Yeah." I muttered under my breath, making sure no one heard me. "Because that's really important." "I'm flash glue?" Chase repeated, turning to Bree and Adam like he needed confirmation of how ridiculous that sounded. "Hey, I think I figured it out!" Adam suddenly exclaimed, cracking the coconut on his forehead, splitting it open. "Ahh... you're right, Chase. The real work does happen up here."
