"Well, Bree--" Donald sighed as he moved between consoles, examining data. "— you smashed your chip so badly, it's useless. But!" He straightened with a proud smirk. "I was able to replicate my brother's original chip, and like my face—it's flawless." We all gave him a mix of side-eyes and awkward glances. "Forget the chip. We need to get this dude a mirror," Leo deadpanned, staring at him blankly
Bree's hopeful expression returned as she turned to Donald. "Wait, so I'm actually going to be bionic again?" Donald nodded at her words. "Yep." Bree's face lit up, and she threw her arms around him in a jubilant hug. "Yes! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Donald hugged her back before glancing at the console as it emitted a soft beep. "Your chip's almost ready."
"Ooh! Snacks are done!" Adam announced, walking toward the fabricator. "For the last time, this is not a microwave!" Donald snapped. "It's a chip fabricator, Adam." I added, shaking my head. "Call it whatever you want." Adam shrugged, pulling out what looked suspiciously like mini pizzas. "I'm still making my snacks in here."
"It could go into the suggestion box," I said with a smirk. Donald whipped his head around to glare at me, knowing how Leo can be. Leo's eyes widened in surprise, looking at me and then at Donald. "Wait, there's a suggestion box?"
"Yup." I replied casually. "Nope." Donald quickly countered. Leo raised an eyebrow at him, silently challenging the statement, silently urging him to explain but Donald simply turned back to the console. "Okay, Bree, hop into your capsule when you're ready for your new chip."
Bree hesitated for a second, then placed the new chip into the capsule before stepping inside. While Donald worked at the console, Leo piped up. "You know, Big D, if this works, maybe you could make a chip for me." Donald scoffed, barely looking up. "Please, your body can't even handle high-fiber cereal." Bree exited the capsule moments later, rubbing the back of her neck and we all turned to her expectantly. "So? How does it feel?" I asked.
"Like a piece of metal just got jammed into my neck and fused to my nervous system!" she quipped, still massaging the spot.
"Whoo hoo! Success!" Donald cheered, clearly thrilled by her response. He grabbed Bree by the shoulders and pushed her toward the middle of the lab. "Alright, give it a try, see how it worked."
Bree took a deep breath, exhaling slowly. Then, with a burst of energy, she used her bionics. What followed was a whirlwind of chaos. Bree dashed around the ceiling, ricocheting off walls, and smashing through equipment before she finally crash-landed on the floor.
"Well, she's still more useful than Chase!" Adam said with a laugh, earning an icy glare from his younger brother.
Yeah, this is gonna be a long ride...
...
"You know, technically speaking, your bionics are working..." Donald said, trying to sound optimistic.
