We were in the lab as Leo was mesmerized by Donald's inventions, saying ooh's and ahh's when passing each one.
"Oooh. Ah. Ho, ho. What's this?" asked Leo, grabbing the invention. Mr Davenport rushed to Leo grabbing it away from his hands and put it down gently on the desk. "Hey, that's part of my 'Put That Down' collection."
Leo grabbed another invention which was an air canister pen. What? I pay attention. ""It's not a pen. It's a highly-pressurized air canister that can inflate a blimp in 8.6 seconds."
"This little thing?" Leo raised his eyebrows. "Mhmm." he nodded. "Impossible." He turned it on and we were being blown away as I held onto the table and Donald and Chase were trying to get a hold of the pen out of Leo's hands but it was difficult and amusing at the same time but he managed to take it and stopped it. "You might wanna put a little warning sign on that." He commented and changed the subject. "So, what're you having? Garage sale for geeks?" Leo said, whilst looking around.
As Donald laughed he dramatically replied."No. We are preparing for... The Call."
"Once a year, Mr. Davenport and I present his newest devices to all the international buyers." Chase explained. "So in other words... " I began. "Ka-ching!" They finished and did a handshake as Leo tried to join in but they looked at him weirdly.
"What are you doing?"
"I wanna be in on... The Call." He dramatically said too. "But Leo..." I put my hand on his shoulder. "...You're dumb." I dramatically said, my eyes wandering off. " Okay, that's fun to do."
"Yeah, sorry, Leo. There's no more room. I'm already the product specialist, the set designer, chief demonstrator, and insanely happy spokesmodel." Chase replied, while posing, smiling weirdly.
"Although, there might be a role for Leo. As long as someone follows him around everywhere he goes with a fire extinguisher." Donald commented. "I'll do it." I raised my hand as Donald pointed at me in approval with a smile.
"But Mr. Davenport, I'm way better at selling this stuff than Leo." Chase stated.
"Please. I could sell nunchucks to a nun named Chuck." Leo bragged. " You couldn't even sell a cupcake to an old lady at the school bake sale." I scoffed with my arms crossed. He glared at me while Chase laughed and turned to the destabilizer. "I could sell this thing without even knowing what it is."
"Leo, no. That's an electro field destabilizer. Whatever you do, don't let it-- " Donald tried explaining but he let it touch metal and he flew and fell on the floor. "-Touch metal."
"I have to admit. A small part of me was hoping that would happen." Chase smiled while I took a picture. " Smile." Am I just a good friend?
"Well, can a big part of you come over and help me up?" He said to Chase as they walked up to him and helped him up. Leo turned to me. "I will get you someday." "Looking forward to it. " I smirked.
