Chase, Bree, Leo and I were talking amongst ourselves, making our way down the lab whilst Adam was making his way to the kitchen to get something to eat when my dad stopped us, with a big smile on his face.

"Hey, guys-" he clapped in the middle of his sentence and when he does that it means he has something to show us, like an invention he made "- check this out. I picked this up at auction today, and it only cost me a million dollars." Looks it was on sale then.

"Wha--? For a sheet?" Adam asked him as Donald sighed at his words. " Well, I guess I'd better start saving up if I'm gonna be a ghost for Halloween."
"It's a painting, Adam" He explained to him whilst putting a hand on his shoulder " by a very famous artist named Von Schtopp." He removed the sheet, revealing a colourful painting. We all gave it weird looks. That thing costs a million dollars? He couldn't have bought us a car or something?
"Hm. I wish I would have been there to 'Von Schtopp' you from bulying it." Leo said as Davenport gave him an unamused look.
" What is it?" Adam asked him. Now that is a million-dollar question. " It's abstract art, Adam. It's whatever you think it is."
"I think it's a crying woman." Bree said.
" I think it's a storm at sea." Chase stated.

"I think it's a lion combined with a snake." I said and they gave me uncanny look as I shrugged "What? It's abstract." " I think someone just blew a million bucks." Leo commented. My dad's phone rings and I'm surprised that his ringtone is not his own self singing.
"That's me. Davenport Industries." He smirked and answered his phone " Hello? Uh-huh. Oh, boy. All right." He hung up and turned to us. "Looks like I've got to put out a fire at work."
" What happened?" Chase asked. "Betty from accounting got her head caught in the positron collider again."
" Ooh!" We grimaced. That sucks. "That's gonna be messy. " he agreed with us, nodding his head "Can you guys put that in the art vault for me?"
"Wait, you have an art vault?" I questioned him. " You have more paintings?"
" When are you guys gonna learn? " He smirked and pointed proudly at himself "I have a everything." He chuckled. " But whatever you do, do not touch the Davenportraits."

"Of course, there's a Davenportrait." I scoffed, as he left the room.
" What's a Davenportrait?" Leo asked. Our question got answered when we were standing in the art vault, looking at his portraits. The art vault was filled with famous paintings but all of them had Davenports' head. Right now, I am one embarrassed child.

Leo held his hands next to his face like the screaming portrait "Am I screaming out loud or just inside my head?"

"Hey, guys. Do any of you have bleach, my eyes can't take this much 'Davenport.'" I muttered, flabbergasted. "I'm just gonna say it: Davenport is one weird dude." Chase spoke as he rubbed my back.
Adam, who has the painting in his hands puts it on the stand " Ah. Voila. The Von Schto-- " he stopped in the middle of his sentence as he was about to sneeze. He turned to us and we urged him to turn around to not sneeze all over us. " Ew, gross, gross, gross...!" " Turn around! Not on me!" "Not on us!" Adam sneezed in the opposite direction and his sneeze triggered his heat vision that burned a hole through the painting.
"Whoa." Adam muttered, not believing what he just did. Our eyes widened at Adam.
"Adam, what did you do?" Chase asked horrified and walked over to it.
"Oh, I think that sneeze accidentally triggered my heat vision." Adam explained, scrunching his face.
"Big D is going to freak out!" Leo said.
" When does he not?" I said but Chase glared at him "Let's not panic. This hole is barely noticeable." I shrugged. I spoke too soon because Adam sneezed again and burned a bigger hole in the painting. "That, however, is incredibly noticeable!" Chase shrieked.
"Adam, if you're going to destroy paintings, do it to those!" I exclaimed and pointed at the other hideous paintings around us.
...
Chase went behind the painting and looked through the hole. The hole itself was bigger than his eye. He walked back onto the other side of it.  "Adam, I cannot believe you just destroyed Mr. Davenport's million-dollar painting!" Chase said freaking out.
