We were in the lab, Chase digging through his school bag and Adam sitting on top of the console, smelling his shoe. "Ugh! Smells like something died in here." I saw him look closely and his eyes widened. "Whoa! Something did die in here! Guys, look at this!" He reached closer to his brother's face since he was closer. "No." We both said at the same time. "Well, at least tell me if this is fur or mold." Adam whined and leaned over so that the shoe could be closer to his face, making Chase scrunch his face in disgust. "No!" Adam tried to put on his shoe but rips a hole in it, resulting his foot to stick out. "Adam, what did you do to your shoe?" I asked, standing up and went to stand next to him with my arms crossed. "I guess I don't know my own strength." He shrugged and stood up from his sitting position. "The same thing happened yesterday with my underwear. Ooh, that reminds me, I got your a new headband for gym class." He took out an elastic waistband from his pants and put it on his head. Chase ripped it off aggressively as I held back my laugh. Chase gave him a look and sighed, walking over to the glass table, putting his books in his bag. "Man, Mr. Davenport warned us about this. As we get older, our chips have to be re-calibrated to adjust for our growth." He explained.
Adam laughed at his explanation. "Oh, well, then yours will never have to be adjusted. 'Cause your body doesn't grow, get it?" His amused smile faded as he got no reaction from him. "I'm saying you're small." "I get it!" he snapped. "When Mr. Davenport gets back, he can re-calibrate your super strength." He went over to the bench to grab more school books as I grabbed my own backpack. "Toss me my backpack." Adam threw his backpack a bit too hard as it went through the doors. "Or we could do it now." I quirked an eyebrow at Chase as he nodded frantically. He put the books down as I put my bag on the table. "Quick, get in your capsule."
"Ah, but I like being ridiculously strong. I'm like King Kong without the little lady in his hand. " Adam whined as Chase gave him a frustrated looking. I laughed as Adam held out his hand to him. "Go ahead, Chase, jump in." "Go!" I told Adam, pointing at his capsule as I saw the look on Chase's face, even tough it was amusing to watch. "Fine." he sighed, giving in. We walk over to the console as Adam got in. "All right, let's see, Adam's size parameters: Six-one, hundred and seventy-five pounds..."

"Make it a hundred and eighty. Had a big breakfast." He smiled as he rubbed his belly. I took over for a second to change his weight, making Chase glare at me and me to shrug innocently. "Since your strength has intensified, I'm gonna dial it back from an 8 to a 6."  Why did he tell him that? Couldn't he have done it without telling him? "Hold on, you can adjust my strength?" Chase nodded in response. "Well, don't dial me down, make me a 10!" "No way. That would be like giving a stick of dynamite to a...well, you."
Chase typed in the console and then gestured for me to press the button so his strength would be a six. As I pressed it the lights flashed a couple of times in his capsule then he got out. "There. Done. Now hurry. We're gonna be late for school." I ran behind him and grabbed my bag.
"Uh, yeah, I'll be right there! I just have to...not do something for a minute." I heard him say before we left the house.
...
In the afternoon we were in the cafeteria and we were looking for a place to sit. When we did Chase sighed. "Man, I always get stuck with the wobbly chair."
"Here, let me fix it. Hold my tray." Adam said as he handed me his tray. Before Adam could help him he accidently ripped the back of the chair and put it on the table. People were looking at us confused and astonished. "Adam!" he scolded, gritting his teeth before he noticed that people were staring. "Budget cuts, am I right? The evidence is all around us, people." He said to them. "You know, termites were a better excuse." I muttered to him. "Just sayin'" he ignored me and went closer to Adam's face. " You maxed out your super strength, didn't you?"
"Of course he did, look who you're talking to." I snapped and gestured to the older brother, rolling my eyes as Chase sighed. "This is so dangerous. You can't control your strength, and it could cause a ton of glitches. We have to change you back, now!" he panicked and for once he was right to panic. "Calm down, you're overreacting." He took his tray back from me and simply put it on the table before the whole table collapsed, making students frightened and stood up from their place while others looked shocked. "Termites. Am I right?" I smiled to them, making some of them nod. "Okay, you can dial me down to a 9."
