"What do you mean you're our father?" Chase asked after a while of silence.

"Yeah, he's our father." Bree added as she pointed at Donald. I could not bring myself to speak at the moment. "No, that's what he's been telling you." He walked closer to his control panel and grabbed a device. "Well, I don't know who you are but you're going down." Adam told him and went to lunge at him but Douglas pressed a button that made them teleport here in the cage with us which was getting a bit cramped up.

" You mastered short-range teleportation before I did? I've been working on that for years!" Donald exclaimed.

Douglas chuckled " I know. I'm awesome."

Adam glared at him "You're still going down!" He went to lunge at him again but nothin'. "My super strength. It's gone."

"So is my speed." Bree said, after she tried to run. "I've got nothing." Chase added, seeing if he got his bionics.

That's because I designed these lasers to block the signals from your bionics chips. Including you as a precaution." He laughed. " That's right, daddy gave you toys but he can also take them away." Wait, I have bionics?

...

" Well, Marcus. We finally captured them. Actually, I captured them. Me, me, me, me, me." Douglas boasted. "You've got one of those too, huh?" Chase questioned to Marcus. "You have no idea." He replied, annoyed. "Come on." He snapped his fingers. "We got work to do!" As Douglas turned, Marcus held out his hands in front of him, in an annoyed manner. As they left the room, we turned to Donald. "Mr. Davenport, why did that guy say that he was our father?"

"Because, technically-" He moved in front so he could face us all. "-he is your father. And my brother." He answered. "What?"

"How is that even possible?" Chase asked. "Wait, so does this mean Chase is also my father?" Adam asked, dumbly. "Years ago, Douglas and I started Davenport Industries together. It was great, we had a cute little lab. You know, not as good as the big lab I have now, but then we didn't nearly have as much money--" "Get to the point!" Bree snapped. "Right. We developed bionics so that robots could do the jobs that were too dangerous for people. But then, Douglas went behind my back and implanted them into genetically engineered humans. Including you, Dawn but he also had other plans."

"You mean us?" Adam asked, making us look over at him. " No, Adam. The Green Bay Packers." Adam nodded his head like he took what Bree said seriously. "Your bionic chips were never designed to be interfaced with the human nervous system." He continued his explanation. "So that's why we glitch." Chase stated. " Exactly."

"Oh. And all these years, I thought it was just 'cause you're a terrible scientist." Adam laughed, making me roll my eyes. " Douglas also hid all kinds of secret codes in your chips. That's why you have all these mysterious new abilities popping up out of nowhere."

"So, if your brother created us, how did we end up with you?" " He wanted to make you into cyber-soldiers of mass destruction. But I knew if I raised you in a safe environment, I could train you to be bionic heroes. So I built the lab and I hid you there."

" Wow. So everything we've ever known about ourselves, about you, it's all been..." Chase trailed on. " One big lie." finished Bree. "Wow. This changes everything." Adam muttered. " Oh! Am I Jewish?"

Bree rolled her eyes, fed up "Please tell me there's another unexpected twist where I find out I'm not related to him." Adam shrugged and did a funny accent "Oi, this one with the futzing and the complaining."

Donald sighed "Look, I wanted to tell you guys, but I figured the less you knew, the safer you'd be."

"But we trusted you. I mean, if you were lying about this, then who knows what else you were lying about." Chase narrowed his eyes. "Exactly." Adam agreed and pulled his hair. "Ow! What are you doing?" Donald exclaimed in pain. " He's not lying about the hair, just looks fake." He stated to us and continued a bit pulling his hair until he let go. Um, good to know.
