Spock

"Y/N, are you dressed. My parents, mainly my mother, are looking forward to meeting you." You're boyfriend Spock said.

"Almost Spock. Do you think your father will like me? Or you dating a human?" You ask exiting the bathroom.

"My father seems to have come to terms with me dating a human. I'm sure he will think your an adequate partner for me." He replies. "Even, if he doesn't, my mother will fight with me. I love you and won't let me dad come between us."

"Thanks Spock, I love you too." You say kissing him on the cheek. You had to stand on you toes in order to reach. The Enterprise beamed you and Spock onto Vulcan. His parents greeted the two of you.

"Mother, Father," Spock said.

"Hello Spock," his mother smiled at him. She gave him a hug. Spock's father just greeted him with the Vulcan salute.

"So this is, Y/N," she said. "It really nice to meet you. We've heard so much about you." She told you. "I'm Amanda."

"Nice to meet you." You answer smiling at her. Spock's father, once again, just does the Vulcan salute.

"Come inside." Amanda said motioning on the door. You and Spock walk inside. Spock leads you over to a couch. The two of you sit down.

"So, Y/N, how did you and Spock meet?" Amanda asks sitting down across from you.

"Well, we were working on a project in the lab at the academy. He told me he thought I was pretty and smart. He asked if I wanted to go out with him." You answer glancing at Spock every once in while. Amanda couldn't stop smiling. You could tell that she was hoping that Spock may become human.

"Spock," his father interrupts. "I require your assistance outside." Spock nods and follows his father.

"I have a question, Y/N." Amanda begins. "Is he romantic? Does he show emotions just to you?"

"He cuddles with me. Sometimes he says little romantic things." You answer. The two of you burst out laughing, just as Spock and Sarek returned.

"What was so amusing?" Spock asked glancing at you. You and Amanda kept laughing. He cautiously sat down next to you. You leaned close to him and snuggled up. His mother kept on smiling.

Later that night, you and Spock were getting ready for bed.

"I still don't understand what you and my mother were laughing earlier." He said.

"We were laughing at the fact you love me." You answer.

"Why is that amusing? Don't you love me?" He asked curiously.

"Spock, of course I love you! Love is just a very human emotion and your mother was wondering if you had... Well had a human emotion." You reply walking close to him. He leans down and kisses you.

"I love you too, of course." He answered. "Lets go to sleep." The two of you laid down. You curled up next to him, your head in the crook of his neck. His arm wrapped around you.

That morning, Amanda went to wake you and Spock. She knocked on the door first of course. This woke neither of you. She opened the door as saw you and Spock snuggling. Smiling to herself, she closed the door. Spock truly did have human emotion.

Spock woke up first. He slowly moved away from you, careful not to wake you. He walked out of the room and was greeted by his mother.

"Oh Spock," she said hugging him.

"What is this about, mother?" He questioned.

"You really love her!" Amanda said slapping his arm. "I knew you could be even remotely human!"

"Mother, love is a Vulcan emotion." He said.

"Still, thank you for falling in love with a human. This may be one of the only ways I know your happy and that I could possibly have a daughter in law?"

"That wouldn't be a completely illogical thought." He said.

"Wait, are you thinking of proposing to Y/N?!?" Amanda asked, shocked. Spock nodded.

"Oh, Spock!" She repeated hugging him tight.

"What did I miss?" You ask entering the room that Amanda and Spock were in.

"Nothing much." Spock said walking over to you. He bent down and kissed you in the cheek. Amanda still couldn't help but smiling, trying to keep from screaming of happiness.
