Your 17 year old daughter ran into your living room, sobbing. Your husband, Leonard, and you got up and walked toward her.

"Honey, what's wrong?" He asked rubbing her back and leading her to the couch.

"Jake broke up with me. I loved him and he betrayed me!" She said sobbing louder.

"Hey, you'll be alright." You say sitting down and hugging her.

"Where does this boy live?" Leonard asked straightening up.

"63 Ave. 4th house on the left why?" She said, still crying.

"No reason," Leonard said getting up. "I'm going to go get something from the store." He said running out of the room.

"He's going to talk to Jake, isn't he?" You daughter asked. You nod and hug her.

An hour later, Leonard returned, grinning widely.

"What did you do?" You ask him cautiously.

"You should have seen him! He begged and pleaded. It was Hilarious! He was like 'I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt your daughter, I just don't like her!' and then i said 'I have a rule with my daughter, anything you do to her I do to you'" He said.

"Dad," your daughter whispered laughing. "Where was he?"

"He wasn't at his house. I went there first. He was at some school event. Wow! you should've seen his face." He replied.

"Thank you." She whispered getting up to hug him. The two hugged and then she said she was going to bed. The two of you said goodnight to her and sat on the couch.

"I don't think Jake will bother her." Leonard said.

"No, I don't think so." You say laughing slightly. "You were great for doing that."

"I love her and will protect her. No matter what." He said putting his arm around you. "Let's watch a movie."

You nod and curl up next to him.
