Christmas can be a great time of the year. This year, you declared a hand made Christmas. This made your sons pretty upset. They were both pretty young, aged six and four, but you and your husband, Leonard, assured them all they needed was to get you a card.

"Mom, can we beam down with Jim to find some stuff to make presents with?" Your oldest son, Morgan, asked you.

"Maybe. I'll think about it." You say, messaging Jim to make sure it would be alright. He instantly responded, saying that it would be okay that the kids went with him to find some things.
"Okay, you can go."

"Yes!" Morgan shouted, jumping from happiness. They would be leaving immediately, so you walked both your sons to the transporter room.

"Okay, Morgan, take care of your brother. Magnus is younger than you, and he doesn't understand about the different cultures. Make sure he's okay. Jim will help you with that too. Be good." You say, giving them a kiss on the forehead. They ran into the transporter pad just as Jim arrived.

"I'll take care of them, don't worry. To be honest, part of this is me preparing to be a father. I need to learn how to take car of kids a little better." Jim admitted, walking next the boys. The glittery beam of the transporter surrounded them, beaming them down to the planet.

"Hey, Y/N, where are the kids?" Leonard asked when he came home that night.

"They're with Jim on the planet. They wanted to get supplies for our gifts." You explain, finishing a report.

"So we are alone." Leonard asked, clarifying.

"Yes, I suppose." You say. Leonard sat next to you. He kissed your cheek And then your lips as you turned your head. After a couple of minutes, there was a knock at the door.

"Hello?" The muffled voice of Jim Kirk asked.

"Enter." Leonard grumbled, moving away from you.

The door opened and your two sons and Jim Kirk came in. Morgan and Magnus were holding boxes covered in wrapping paper. "How was finding things?" You ask.

"Good." Morgan said, helping Magnus carry his presents over to the corner where the presents were.

"Daddy will love my gift." Magnus stated, pointing to a small box.

"I'm sure I will." Leonard said.

"Mommy, Daddy wake up! It's Christmas!" Your sons yell, running out of their room. Leonard woke up quickly, seeing as the kids startled him.

"Alright, I'm moving." You say, getting up form bed. The boys had brought over their presents for you, and Leonard got the presents from the two of you.

The boys had opened two of their presents, each one getting more and more excited. It was time for you to open your gift from Morgan and Magnus. You had gotten a wonderful card and some nice smelling grasses form the planet.

Leonard opened his gift from Magnus and was surprised. He pulled out a dark, plain, simple, rock. "Thanks Magnus. What is it?" Leonard asked, looking down at Magnus.

"It's a pet rock." Magnus said, jumping up and down in his seat. He was really excited.

"Oh, thank you!" Leonard said. "Does this rock have a name?"

"George." Magnus muttered, suddenly looking serious.

"Alright, I now have a pet rock names George. I love it." Leonard said, looking at Magnus. Morgan had gotten him a card.

Later that night, when the kids were asleep, you and Leonard opened your presents from each other.

George the rock sat on Leonard's nightstand. Magnus had insisted he stay out in the open, for the fear he would suffocate in the drawer, despite staying in box for a couple days.

"Alright, me first." Leonard said, pulling out a box. He opened it to reveal a nice necklace. It had a blue stone in the center of a metal oval.

"Oh, Leonard." You muttered. "It's beautiful, I love it."

Leonard helped you put it on. It felt different to have some more weight on your neck, but it was a good different.

"Okay, I got you a different kind of present." You say, opening a box. You pulled out a single picture and handed it to him.

"It's an ultrasound." Leonard observed. "Is it from Magnus or Morgan?"

"It's from neither. Check the date." You say, getting anxious.

"It's from last week. But how is-" Leonard said, but he froze. He looked up and you and hugged you. "Wow, wow. Wow."

"I know." You say. "Looking forward to it?"

"Of course! I'm going to be a father again!" Leonard shouted, giving you another hug.
