The young girl laying on the table in from of Jim Kirk, was adorable. Her name was Jenna Maria Kirk. She was his first and only daughter, and he loved her more than he ever thought he could. Sure, Jim knew that he would love the child, but he had know idea it would he this much.
"She's very beautiful Jim." His mother, Winona, said, putting her hand on Jim's shoulder. You were asleep in the other room.
Jenna was laying on the table, wrapped in a pink blanket. Jim's arms were on both sides of her, keeping her in place. She slept peacefully.
"I know." Jim muttered, smiling down at Jenna. She has his hair and her mothers eyes.
"I'm so thrilled to be an aunt. You'll be a great father." Jim's sister, Natalie, said. She slung her arm around Jim's neck and hugged him slightly. Your mother and sisters were all looking at the little baby in Jim's arms.
"Can I hold her?" Your mother asked. Jim looked up, horrified. Your mother noticed. "Not ready to let anyway hold her yet?"
"No. Not yet. I just want to stand here how we are now." Jim muttered, glancing over at your mother, than back to Jenna. He leaned down and kissed Jenna's forehead.
He couldn't believe this girl was his.
