"This is amazing." You mutter, looking out over the calm water at the sunset. Bright oranges and yellows reflected off of the water, which just had small ripples.

"I knew you'd love it," your boyfriend, Leonard, said. The two of you were on a boat in the ocean, watching the sunset.

"It's gorgeous. Thanks for 'kidnapping' me and bringing me here." You say, jokingly. Leonard had put a blindfold on you and wouldn't tell you where you were going.

"Your welcome, there's something else I have for you." Leonard said, slowly moving to the other side of the boat. It was made of wood, and pretty it was unsteady.

"What?" You ask, crawling to the other side where he was.

"Just wait a couple minutes." Leonard said, crawling over back by you. The two of you laid down, your head on his chest.

The sunset was still had an array of oranges and yellows. The deep purple was above the colors and stars were glittering behind you.

Suddenly, a loud boom startled you. You looked to your left, sitting up and little, to catch the last glimpse of a firework.

"Fireworks?" You ask, your hand on Leonard's chest to steady yourself.

"Yeah, you like them?" Leonard asked, smiling at you as another firework exploded.

"I love them. And this entire date." You say, leaning down to kiss him. You looked up to see more fireworks explode. They were your favorite colors, and they were beautiful.

During the fireworks, you had leaned down to kiss Leonard again. He kissed you and moved a little. The boat became very unsteady, so the two of you had to stay still.

The boat stopped rocking and you both moved. Suddenly, the boat flipped, throwing both of you into the water. There was a huge air pocket under the boat, so it stayed afloat.

Exhaustedly, you pulled yourself up onto the bottom of the boat. Leonard pulled himself up too. The fireworks were still going off and the two of you were facing each other.

"I love you." Leonard muttered.

"I love you." You say, kissing him. Fireworks exploded, colors lighting the sky. Both of you were dripping wet, water running down your faces.

Despite being capsized, this was the best date you've ever had.
