Tonight was your first date with a man, Jim Kirk. You were sitting on the front porch with you father and little brother. You father was cleaning a gun and your brother was supplying cleaning clothes. You rolled your eyes every time you saw them, just to show you were annoyed.

Jim drove up after about fifteen minutes, write on time. Your dad started to clean the guns even faster, it seemed anger was building. Jim walked out of the car and walked onto the porch. "Hello, Y/N." He said smiling.

"Hello, Jim." You say, standing up and hugging him.

"Mhm." Your dad cleared his throat.

"Jim, this is my dad, Y/D/N. And my brother, Corey." You say motioning to them.

"Hello Mr. Y/L/N. I'm Jim." Jim said, extending his hand. Your dad just stared at it. "Okay," Jim whispered, moving his hand back.

"Alright, I have some rules about dating my daughter." Your dad started saying, setting the gun down. "Don't hurt her, don't be rude to her, and don't do anything to her you might regret later. Anything you do to her, I will do to you."

"Got it." Corey whispered, standing on a chair and getting real close to Jim's face.

"I got it. I won't hurt her or do anything." He replied, holding out a fist bump to Corey. Corey punched his hand as hard as he could, trying to see if he could hurt Jim.

"Let's get going." You say, grabbing Jim's arm and leading him to the car.

"Be back by Eleven!" You dad yelled after you.

"Sorry about my dad and brother. They are very protective of me." You say, as Jim is driving to the restaurant.

"It's alright. Your brothers a tough little guy. He's cool. Him and I will get along well, I know it." Jim said, laughing. You smiled and laughed a little.

"I was really excited for this date." You say.

"Me too. Hopefully I can get you back by eleven. I don't want to feel the wrath of your dad." He said, continuing to laugh.
