You walked into you and your husband, Hikaru's quarters. You were hoping he had been able to put your son, Tom to bed. Tom was a restless sleeper and was almost impossible to put to bed.
Slowly you open the door to your quarters. When you walk in, your son Tom was asleep. Hikaru was asleep, sprawled out on the bed. His black hair was messed up, his cheek was smashed against the mattress. Slowly, you walk into the bathroom.
When you walked back out, they were in the same positions. Tom in his crib and Hikaru sprawled on the bed. Carefully, you get into bed. Hikaru woke up.
"Hey, Y/N." he mumbled. "How was.. Work?" He asked yawning in between words.
"Great. You look exhausted." You respond. He nods and tries to go back to sleep.
"Goodnight Hikaru. Good job putting Tom to bed." You say, but he was already asleep.
