"You get scared watching this show, so why do you watch it? Isn't it illogical to watch something that scares you?" Spock asked, sitting next to you on the couch at your apartment. You were watching some really old horror movies and TV shows.

Alright, some of them weren't really scary, but they startled you a little. For instance, Jurassic Park. You had loved the movie the instant your parents had showed it to you. This was one of the very old ones. Made in the 1990's, but you still liked it.

"I don't know. Maybe it's just the exhilaration of being startled. For some strange reason I like it." You answer, changing to a different movie. This one was called Poltergeist.

After the movie, Spock seemed impressed, yet confused. "How do humans find something that was filmed on a set to be scary? It's all fake."

"Yes, it is all fake, but sometimes the story line and border line scary can be great." You reply, now changing to a TV show called Supernatural. This one had its scary moments.

"Are you doing a horror movie marathon?" Spock asked, the second episode, Wendigo, finished. "You seem to be watching one scary show after another."

"I guess. Are you scared?" You ask, poking him in the arm. He looked at you confused.

"No. I'm not scared. I'm worried you might be though. Every time something startling happens you jump. It can't be good for you." Spock said, wrapping his arm around you. "I'll keep you safe."

"Yeah, thanks. I'm fine though." You answer, clicking the next episode.
