You were going on shore leave with your boyfriend, Pavel Chekov. He wanted you to meet his mom for the first time.

"You nervous?" He asked you. You were fidgeting in your seat on the bus.

"That obvious, huh?" You said looking at your hands.

"Calm down. You'll be fine." He answered putting his arm around you. You put your head on his shoulder.

The Rest of the ride was short. You had fallen asleep next to him. You woke up by him shaking you.

"C'mon lets go." He said. The walk from the bus station to his mothers house was long. The two of you made small talk until you reached the house.

"Pavel!" A women yelled running out of the house. She gave him a big hug and kissed his cheek. "It's great to see you! My you've grown!"

"Mother, mother, stop please." He said laughing. She laughed too. You just stood there awkwardly. She moved away from his and glanced at you. She muttered something to Pavel in Russian. He muttered something back.

"This is Y/N." he said pointing to you.

"Hello, Y/N, I'm Eva." She said smiling.

"It nice to meet you."

"Come inside, you must be exhausted from the trip and the walk." Eva said motioning inside. "I started dinner, it's a roast I hope you like it."

"I'm sure I will," you reply walking close to Pavel. He held your hand, trying to look romantic. The two of you sat down on a couch. You put your head on his shoulder.

"How was your trip?" Eva asked sitting down.

"It was alright. Some of it was long." Pavel answered. You nodded in agreement.

"This is going to be a weird question, but how did you two have your first kiss together?" Eva asked. You and Pavel glanced at each other.

"Umm. We were on a date. There's this fountain at StarFleet academy and on the way back to our dorms we stopped there. He had sat down on the edge. We talked a little and then he kissed me. We were kissing to the point when we didn't realize we had nearly fallen into the fountain. We did, sadly." You answered snuggling close to him.

"Aww." His mother responded. Before she could say anything else, a timer signaled that dinner was ready. "I'll be right back."

Pavel let out a sigh. "I'm glad she's gone now. Sorry, she's kinda embarrassing." He said.

"That's fine. At least your not meeting my dad. We wouldn't be left alone ever."

"I love you, Y/N"

"Love you too, Pavel"
