Camping has always been one of your favorite activities. Sitting by the fire, sleeping in tents, roasting marshmallows, and swimming in lakes. It was even better now since you were on a different planet from Earth. You also had your boyfriend and friends with you.

Kirk was telling a very creepy story while everyone else say around the fire, listening. Chekov and his girlfriend, Victoria, were sitting very close together, he was comforting her through the story. This was probably the scariest story you had ever heard.

Kirk wife, Kyra, sat next to him, helping him tell the story. She was trying to make the details more gruesome, which only made the story scarier. You snuggled up close to your boyfriend, Hikaru. He had his arm wrapped protectively around you, making you feel safer.

The story had finished and everyone went to bed. You shared a tent with Hikaru. Kirk and Kyra shared a tent. Chekov and Victoria shared a tent. Spock, McCoy, and Uhura, the only single ones, shared a tent.

Late that night, just as you were about to fall asleep, a branch snapped outside. You stopped moving, you didn't even breathe. Slowly, you shook Hikaru awake.

"Hikaru," you whisper, shaking him. "Hikaru wake up. There's something outside!"

"Mhm..... Its fine. It's just one of our friends." He mumbled, going back to sleep.

You nod and lay down, snuggling close to Hikaru. Suddenly, you heard this scraping on the outside of the tent. This time, Hikaru listened and sat up. The two of you sat in the middle of the tent, back to back, breathing heavily. The scraping continued.

"Ahh!" Someone screamed outside the tent, while banging on it.

"AHH!" You and Hikaru scream, moving backwards and hitting your heads together. You whipped around and hugged him tight, crying a little. You got scared easily.

"Ahahahaha..." You heard people laughing. You and Hikaru exhaustedly laid back down.

"Kirk, Kyra. It's not funny." Hikaru yelled, comforting you a little. This really scared you, even though it was just a prank.

"It's kinda is funny," Kyra said, opening the tent. Her and Kirk were really meant to be together. The both sat inside the tent by the door. Kirk turned on a lantern that was hanging up.

"You okay, Y/N?" He asked. You nod.

"I just get scared easily." You mutter, moving closer to Hikaru.

"Sorry Y/N, but you have to admit, it was a good prank." Kyra said.

"It's fine and that was pretty good. Anytime I get scared and cry, it was a very good prank." You reply laughing.

Kirk and Kyra nod before leaving.

"Told you it was just our friends." Hikaru said, sitting up.

"Yeah, I guess. I'm glad it was just them though." You reply, laying back down exhausted.

"I'll protect you if it's something bad." He said, wrapping his arm back around you.

"Sure," you reply sarcastically. "You screamed just as I did."

"Oh shut up." He muttered mockingly before falling asleep. You fell asleep just being happy that he offered to protect you, even if he screamed like a little kid.
