Chapter 16: Always Neglected♥

*Ray'vn's P.O.V*                         ( Monday, August 13 ) 

"Are you done yet!?" Devon slides out from under the car. "Shut up!! Do you want to come do this shit!?" I fold my arms seriously aggravated. "No," I mumbled. "Excuse me?" "I said no!!!" 

He stood up and started coming toward me and I ran to the other side of the car. "I didn't think so. All you do is complain. You need to stop using your damn mouth so much and go do something." 

How the hell does he expect me not to complain!? We've been sitting in the middle of nowhere for like an hour now and it's hot as hell out here. We wouldn't be stuck out here if he had listened to me when I told him something was wrong with the car. 

Plus his dumb ass wanted to become some super high tech human GPS that he took another road claiming it as a shortcut and got us lost. My phone's going to die soon so we can't use the GPS on it and none of us can find the car charger for either. 

Ughhh! I want to go home! Not only that we had ate all the snacks that were in the car and I'm hungry. Luckily there was a store just in front of where the car broke down. But I didn't have any money. 

I really didn't want to ask Devon for any money but I didn't have a choice. I slowly slide my way over to him. "Devon?" I asked all scared and soft. He took one glimpse at me and my heart jumped. 

I couldn't control how much I was shaking. Since last night I've been completly horrified of him. "Nevermind." I turned to walk off. "What do you want Ray'vn?" "C-can I borrow some money? I'm hungry and I don't have any money left."

He couldn't reach into his pocket for his wallet 'cause his hands were all oiled up so I had to get it. I cautiously reached in and slipped out a 2O. Something about being this close to him felt good? The smell of his cologne was pulling me in. I snapped back and walked away.

For a store in the middle of nowhere, they have pretty decent food. I got two bacon, egg, and cheeses for myself with a monster and Devon a big steak and cheese with a bottle of Ciroc and ginger ale. I went back and gave him his stuff. 

I sat on the front of the car chilling, eating, and thinking things through. Something's going on in my head. I'm lost. The way I feel about certain things, everything is all mixed up. I don't know what's wrong with me!! 

I was staring out into space unaware of what was going on when Devon crept up on me. I jumped. I looked at him scared of what he'd do. Surprisingly, he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in off of the car. Once again, I kept my head down and his cologne had me in a daze. 

As I stood in front of him my arms were pressed against his chest. He lifted my head, our eyes connected making me confused from trying to figure out what he was feeling. I suddenly began to feel a rush of cold air hit my body. He kissed me and I lost myself.

Unsure of how long we had went on it had started raining. We rushed in to the backseat of the car but Devon got a blanket from the trunk. He hopped in closing the door before he wrapped it around me.

The tention between us was now really awkward. He swiftly moved his hand along my thigh. I held it before he could go any farther. The rain beating on the car with water trickling down the windows made me sleepy. 

I laid down, Devon behind leaving me at the edge. I can't lie that I felt comfortable. The car had gotten freezing cold thou Devon made it better covering us both with the blanket then wrapping his arms around me.
