Ray'vn
I walked back to the living room. I never really paid attention when I walked in at first.
This would have to be the new house we got relocated to.
A good amount of our old furniture and pictures were put around, all over the room. Even though I didn't wanna be here, I tried telling myself that it's for the best and that I had to accept it.
I walked up stairs to get a better look at the place.
This house looked like one of those homes you would see in a music video.
This isn't the type of "new home" I was expecting. This is more like a vacation house. I sighed and shook my head as I looked around even more.
When I felt like I couldn't stand to see anything else, I walked back to the door that had a sign with my name on it. I opened the door and I couldn't believe my eyes. Was this really my room?
They tried to cover up all the fancy stuff with the things that were in my room before. I liked it, I did but I didn't want it.
I walked through the door by my bed guessing that's where my bathroom and closet was.
I wasn't exactly liking this at all.
A luxury style bedroom, a walk-in closet and a southern style bathroom for myself.
I was so lost I didn't notice the stairs that was in the back corner of my closet. I walked up and moved closer to the door then opened it.
I had a freaking lounge above my bedroom and bathroom.
This barely seemed like a lounge, this was a club. This stuff is nice but I wasn't expecting this at all.
I can't look at this anymore.
I walked back downstairs to my room.
I sat in the chair by my desk.
A knock came at my door. "Come in."
"Hey," Devon said with a half smile on his face. I stood up with my arms out referring to everything, not forgetting to point up.
"What," he asked chuckling.
"I'm not joking Devon. What is all this?" "Your new home Ray'vn." "This isn't a house Devon! This is a freaking mansion!" "Damn Ray'vn, relax. You don't like it?"
"Yeah I like it Devon but this is too much! Why did we have to move so far up here for this?"
"Because Ray'vn, Nino's guys won't ever expect us living up here. They won't come searching the hills. They're not that stupid. You know how much rich people live up here? They know the chances they'd be taking trying to come close to here."
"Okay but why did Ray and his family have to come?"
"One of Nino's guys saw you climb over to Ray's window. I guess he was just too scared to shoot." He went quiet.
I sighed.
"Alright so where's Ray's family house?"
"Here."
"Wait what? Here?"
"Yes. You obviously didn't look around much when you got here or at the backyard. There's a small path at the side of the backyard that leads to the next house over to the right. That's the house Ray's family is gonna live in. Both are considered as one together."
