Ray
Every time I hold Ray'vn I get lost in another world. The feelings I have for this girl can't be explained using words. Come on Ray, don't get all sappy now.
She pulls away and looks down at the ground. "NeNe, what's wrong?" "Nothing..." A tear ran down her face. I lifted her chin with my finger and wiped it away then kissed her forehead. "There's no need to cry. I'll always be here for you."
She tried to smile, but failed. We go back over to where my friends were. "Guys, you all know Ray'vn." "Yeah." "You mean the little broad that lost her Dad & Chris keeps trying to get back with? What's so special about her? Come on Ray, why do hang out with her anyways," Erin, Princeton's girlfriend, says. Roc hits her arm. What she said really hurt Ray'vn because she let go of my hand and walked away.
"Prince, you better get your girl man." I ran after Ray'vn. "NeNe stop." "No Ray. You know your friends don't like me yet you still introduce me to them." "It's not like that. They do like you. They just don't think you fit in with us."
"Fit in? Are you serious?! So what? Are you in some popular crew? Let me guess, you don't think I fit in either do you?" "Ne, I never said that." "You didn't have to." She walks back into the house.
I shake my head and walk back home. This really isn't my night.
Ray'vn
In the morning I wake up and head downstairs. Once again the house is a complete mess! I feel like I live in a junkyard sometimes.
Thank God I'm home alone.
I spoke way too soon as I walked into the kitchen and saw Devon. Why is it that Devon and I have to keep meeting like this?
I pay him no attention and make my breakfast. As I was going to sit down he pulls me onto his lap. I nearly dropped my food. "You just took a shower. Nice. You know your Mom's not home and I'm sure you wouldn't mind getting dirty again."
He kisses on my neck. I move away, but pulls me right back. "Why are you so jumpy? You know you like it." "I don't. Can I please eat in peace?" He let's me go. "Only because you asked nicely." He slaps my ass then goes upstairs.
God, I wish my Mom wasn't so stupid to realize what was going on.
I finally start eating and the doorbell rings. Who the hell is that?!
I pull the door open to see my friend Tiffany! "Titi!" We both scream and hug each other. "What are you doing here?! I'm sure Florida is much better than being here."
"What? I can't come visit my best friend?" She carries her stuff inside. I felt ashamed that she had to see the house like this. "I'll explain later. Why are you in Atlanta? Does my Mom even know you're here?"
"Yeah. She's been planning with your Aunt for a while now. I'm just happy to see you again." "Me too." It was quiet. "Okay let's not get all sappy. It's a nice day out, the day's still long, so why don't we get this place cleaned up and go have some fun?"
She smiles.
I began blasting some music while we cleaned and ate breakfast. When we were done, I felt much better than when I woke up. We started heading upstairs when Devon was coming down. "Who's this little thang?"
"Um Devon this is my best friend, Tiffany. Tiffany this is my Mom's fiance Devon." "OMG! Your Mom is getting re-married?!" I shake my head. "Damn, at least your Mom has good taste." She laughs and Devon smiles.
This isn't happening right now. "Well, Devon we have to get ready to go so bye now." "Bye. I should be back before your Mom gets home. Have fun girls."
My Aunt sent some outfits with Titi. I couldn't wait to wear them. I chose one and we got ready to go.

_________________________________We decided to go to a museum. It's an unusual thing for us to do, but it's good to be different. We stepped out the house only to find Ray leaving at the same time. "NeNe!" Damn, did he have to come out now? I turn to him. "Hey Ray. What's up?"
"I was going to hang out with the guys. You wanna come?" "I thought I wasn't good enough to hang with you and your friends?" "NeNe..." He didn't know what to say. "That's what I thought." Titi and I walk away.
I almost forgot how much fun it was being with Titi. I swear she's so stupid. There was a theater in the museum and they were showing a Kevin Hart movie, so we didn't pass up the opportunity to watch. Titi was loud as hell cracking jokes, laughing, and dancing in front her of seat.
We kept throwing popcorn and stuff at other people which got us kicked out. We threw stuff at the security, and they chased us out of there. We ran through the candy store and I bumped into someone and fell.
"I'm so sorry," I say laughing. "Don't sweat it." I recognized the voice and who else would it be, but Chris. "Let's go," I say pulling Titi's arm. "Ray'vn why do you keep doing this?"
"Chris I told you last night, we're done. We're not turning back. You had your chance and you lost it. When will you get that through your head?" He steps closer, backing me into the shelf.
"When you give me the chance to prove myself. Ray'vn I'm not gonna stop trying." He tries kissing me and I try fighting away from him.
"Chris get off me!" Titi stood back not knowing what to do.
"Is there a problem?"
I look towards the door and saw Ray and his friends. Chris let go and I went back to Titi. Ray stands in front of him. "Problem Chris?"
"Why do you always have to mess up my game?" "Apparently you have no game Chris. The more you keep trying, Ray'vn still isn't coming back to you." Ray's comment made us all laugh. "I'm not even gonna argue with you. When I do get Ray'vn back, you're gonna be the one feeling sorry." He leaves.
"You cool NeNe?" "Yeah, thanks Ray," I say smiling lightly. We were walking away then heard someone say something.
"Ray'vn why don't you two come chill with us? It'll be fun, we promise," Roc yells smiling. I press my lips together, not wanting to go along, but seeing Ray made me say otherwise.
