*Ray's P.O.V* ( Saturday, August 18, 2012 )

I stood by the rocks watching Ray'vn. I can't explain to you how gorgeous she looked. If I had stuck to my mind and not come here today it would have been the biggest mistake I'd made beside the reason why we aren't talking now.

She stood in front of me. "What are you doing here," she asked. "What? So I can't come see a friend now?"  She giggled. "I didn't say that." I stared at her deeply and all she could do was look down. She tried not to show that she was blushing but I saw.

"You look beautiful Ray'vn." "*smile* Thanks Ray. You look good too. It's been years since I saw you dressed so... how would you say it, trendy?" She said in a jokey tone. I laughed.

"Ohh! So you think you have jokes now?" I stepped closer to her. She got a bit too cocky and thought she could stand up to me. With her height? It wasn't possible.

"Sorry Dr. Looney Tunes. I been had jokes."

We both laughed hysterically. "You're real corny." "Shut up. I know." Both of us went quiet. "Soo, um are you staying?" I shook my head. "No." "Why not?" "Ray'vn I would love to stay but it's your Mom's big day. I don't wanna be the one to mess it up just because he's here."

I knew exactly who he was talking about. "Ohh." She seemed sad that I wasn't staying. I took her hand that it frighten her because it was unexpected. "I'll stay for you a little bit." She shook her head trying to smile. "I'm sorry Ray'vn. For everything."

She looked up at me. "How is a simple I'm sorry gonna change everything?" "Ray'vn please. It's been way too long for us to keep acting like this. I didn't mean to call you that."

"You know wouldn't disrespect you." "So why'd you say it?" "NeNe I was mad! The whole thing with you and him got me really upset. He's playing you right in front of your face and you don't even see it."

She softly let go of my hand. "He's not playing me. Don't say that," she said rubbing her arms with sadness on her face like she was going to cry. I pulled her to face me, holding her waist with my right hand. "NeNe, he is and you know it. You just don't want to accept. All the stuff he did to you, what makes you think he won't do it again?"

"You don't need to be treated that way." Her eyes remained on the sand. Of course she did begin crying quietly to herself. I sighed heavily. I took her in my arms hugging around her neck so her head was in my chest and she held around my stomach.

Five minutes go by. She parts from me. "You okay?" "Mhm. *sniffle*" She took a deep breathe. "Look at me."

I could tell she didn't want to but did anyways. I wiped her face with my thumbs and smiled at her. She giggled through sniffles. Out of nowhere she slapped me in my stomach. "Coco puff. *chuckle*"

Haha. She really think she's funny. "I forgive you." My eyes became wide and I smiled extremely hard.

"You serious?" "Yes." I picked her up and spun her like a little ballerina girl. "Okay! Okay!" I put her down. She was fixing her dress then the song Water Runs Dry by Boys II Men played. I stuck out my hand. "May I have this dance beautiful?" She smiled then took my hand.
