Undefined Love

Chapter 40: Unseen.

Ray'vn

COLD.

Ray's room instantly became cold.

Inside the bag was a bit of extra clothes and stuff that I would need but under all that was a Micro SMG handgun and extra ammo.

I could barely take a proper deep breath.

I closed the bag and pushed it away, grabbing the teddy bear to lay down.

Ray grabbed my hand and pulled me to stand up.

"Talk. NOW!"

I stood there staring into his eyes.

My stomach was in complete knots and swinging all over the place.

Tears starting welling in my eyes again because I couldn't bring myself to tell Ray what was going on just yet.

"No, no," he said shaking his head. "Don't even start that crying shit now. Tell me what the hell is going on Ray'vn! Why is that in your bag?!" "Nothing."

My eyes watered more. He scoffed shaking his head. He put a candle out in the hallway, grabbed a few blankets from his closet and two pillows then threw them out the door. He walked back in, took up the bag and tossed it by the pillows and blankets. He stood by the door holding the knob.

"Get out."

My heart felt crushed of life. "R-"

"Get out!"

I jumped. Ray would yell at me but I never heard this much hurt, pain, and fury in his voice. I took up the teddy bear and walked out.

"Ray-"

The door slammed in my face. I took a deep breath, feeling all the tears stream down my face. I struggled trying to hold all the stuff Ray had thrown from his room in both my hands along with the teddy bear. I couldn't sleep in the hallway. I had candles but the fear of being out here alone was enough to push me away. I turned and saw Kay standing in her parents doorway with her parents at her side.

"Can I sleep with you," I choked.

Kay helped me get the stuff in the room.

I chose an empty area in the corner by Tay's crib. I said nothing to anyone. I cried to myself quietly and laid out the blankets. I threw down the pillows and laid softly, covering myself up, and hugging my bear for dear life.

I cried and cried until my head hurt then soon fell asleep.

( 5:42 am )

"Ray'vn, Ray'vn," someone said shaking my shoulder in my sleep.

I looked and saw Ray's Dad over me.

"Put these shorts on and come downstairs."

He left.

I look at my phone...

Five in the morning. When and how did I even fall asleep?

I forced myself to raise up from the floor. All of a sudden I felt a sharp killer pain in my leg. I groaned. It hurt but I sucked it up. I had to because there wasn't much I could do. I put the shorts on and made my way to the steps. At the top of the steps; there they were.

"Chris," I screamed, blazing down the steps. I threw myself at him. "Ray'vn," he said into my neck. I'd never felt so much love in his arms than I did now.
