It's been months since I lasted updated. I know I had you guys waiting for a LONG time but it's cool. That's why I made these new Chapters so long. Especially this Chapter. A lot of you say this is supposed to be a Ray Love Story. Yes it is, everything that's happening is what's leading up to where Ray and Ray'vn have there moment for everything. Chapter 18: It's A Matter Of Who You Want v.v

*Ray's P.O.V*                                   ( Thursday, August 16 )

I wake up in the morning with the sun shining in my face. I didn't want to go to school even though I know I had to. Instead, I stuffed my head back under my pillow. A few seconds later Mom walked in saying to wake up.

"Ray, baby wake up. The hospital called they're releasing Kay. They said we can pick her up now but your Dad's at work so I need you to come with me."

A smile spread across my face. It felt as if I was flying. For once there is something I could be happy for. Only a matter of time before I was standing outside the room where my little sister laid in a hospital bed. Mom had gone in first.

"Ray... come in." I took a deep breath and slowly stepped in. The second that I walked into the room, the look on Kay's face changed from a smile into a look of absolute anger. "Hey Kay, how you feeling?" Her eyes narrowed. "What is he doing here?" Mom looked at her confused.

"K-Kay, he's your brother. He's here to help you." "I don't care. He's the reason why I'm in here! I hate you!!"

My face went blank. I don't know what I was feeling. All my emotions had disappeared, they were gone. The only thing I wanted to do was cry. On the way back home the car was filled in silence.

Mom pulled up in front of the house. Kay tried getting out on her own and nearly fell.

I caught her and she pushed me away. "Don't touch me!!" I let her go and Mom came around with her crutches. She helped Kay go inside and said for me to let her have her space. I was walking up the stairs and saw Ray'vn coming my way.

"Ray! Wh-what happened to Kay?" Now really wasn't a good time for her to even be here. "Why do you care?" She sighed and looked at me with pleading eyes. "Ray please can we not start this right now?" "If you don't wanna start then leave! I never told you I wanted you here!"

She pressed her lips together and looked at me before walking away. I groaned in aggravation; I wanted to call her back and apologize but I couldn't bring myself to do it. The only thing left for me to do was go in and get ready for school.

*Ray'vn's P.O.V*

First, an amazing night out with Chris and I wake up this morning fighting with Ray. There always has to be one day where I can't be happy. FML. -__-

The sound of the bell rang telling you it's time for lunch. I walked out of Biology and headed down the hall.

After I got my lunch I walked outside to the foyer. This is the one thing about my school that I loved the most. The fresh smell of the flowers around me kept me calm and made me happy. I sat there eating when I felt someone's hands wrap around my waist and their head rest between my neck and shoulder.
