A two-faced step brother who will take away everything from the protagonist, that's Yang Jungwon's role.
Seeing his 'brother' get beaten up by these stupid adults, Jungwon felt pity. However he did not say it outloud, not because he's scared, on-contrary his personality is straight forward and calculating. Devious and evil. Yang Jungwon is the spawn of satan in disguise. With his innocent looks and pure eyes, no one would doubt the sweet looking Jungwon could cause a havoc within miliseconds.
Blood, his step brother spited blood. Jungwon gulped at the sight but whenever Sunghoon darts his eyes to him, Jungwon will change his expression from being horrified to being amused. It was cruel but that's his job. He needs to fulfill his role as a villain.
This isn't his first job, He has been in about 10 worlds or more. Doing the same o'l cliche villain shit, he never received a request like this since he entered the industry. But he accepted anyways thinking it would get him up to A tier.
He hears another slap and when he turned around to check on Sunghoon, their eyes met. Jungwon quickly turned away, hoping Sunghoon didn't saw the guilt spiraling in his eyes. He tugged his mother and excused himself.
The villain in this world is notorious for being an asshole, but right now, there was a defect. The system failed to know what it is, which is why Jungwon had to replace the villain to make the plot progress. A defect is a normal occurrence to the system. It generates new story to another hence linking the worlds together. And Jungwon's job is more of a fixer, they fulfill a spot that had a problem and after they die or get their punishment, they come back to their original world which is called 5-CO2. Villains are the most common jobs anyone can do. High tiers like the star and moon tier do more of the protagonist/super villain jobs. Jungwon is just in the B-tier, though it was a stable tier to be in, Jungwon yearned for a higher one. Perhaps it's all thanks to his competitive nature that got him here. So when his friend, Niki got his hands on a moon tier job, Jungwon quickly complied.
The data was illegal, Niki told him he got it from a royal but still illegal. Jungwon thought about it for a day.
Will he do it?
Niki also reassured him they can't track him while doing the job, as the royal who gave it to him explained how moon and star jobs are very confidential as it has explicit or gore content. Meaning, he could go wild and the government won't even know. Jungwon also considered the amount of experience he could gain from this. It made him think that he could easily do B tier jobs and finally get a promotion if he do this.
So, he accepted it.
Niki oriented him about the task, story and goal.
The goal is to bully the main lead until he snaps and take over the industry, kicking his relatives and establishing his own business. It will be one of the leading company in the future.
After that, he will meet a daring lady and yada yada, they fall in-love. He remembers the villain appearing between the lines to assault the lady, then he gets arrested, main lead will realize how scum he is and gives him a deserving punishment.
The task is to give Park Sunghoon enough psychological trauma to build his gloomy, shut-in character. A character thirsty for power and wealth, consumed by anger, he wanted to reach the top to prove to his family his worth. Until, he meets the main character Na Igrid. She is a foreigner, but has korean blood. The woman was rich and carefree. At first, Sunghoon hated everything about her because she was everything Sunghoon wanted to be. Bold, charismatic and lovable. Something he never was, and never been. It developed into love as time goes on.
That's the story written in this world according to the system. At first, it seemed easy because the plot sounds cliche. But seeing all the abuse and mistreatment first hand, it was painfully scary. To think he's the cause of all of that, Yang Jungwon, he doesn't know if he should applaud or resent himself. He started questioning his morals and he's only been here for a month, according to this world's time. But only 2 days in the real world. How can he stay here for 8 months if he already feels like this?
