Gepard knew he shouldn't care too much for Sampo.

His mind should lie in Belobog.. Jarilo-VI.. But, after finding the vast universe beyond Belobog, everything felt miniscule. He still felt the responsibility and burdens, yet he couldn't erase the need to break free from his own habit, his own thoughts.

Gepard was someone resilient. He never had thoughts like that before, he never questioned- never defied- everything in his life was set on stone. Everything about him is defined in general terms such as; diligent, kind, obedient, and loyal Gepard Landau. A family man, a soldier ready to die for its country- its planet. A tradition he wouldn't dare to break, a burden he should carry along as a noble.

He doesn't hate it, perse.. He's fine with it.

He was raised in a good condition, he saw a fair amount of the effects of the corrosion from the pigaments of destruction scattered through the land. He has seen both black and white to know his duty... His father's words were the only guidance- the ultimate fact that he engraved in his matra.

He did not know anything further than that.

Training, politics, strategies... To let Belobog live through the rough winds of the snow, that's the only goal he had in his mind.

As long as he can protect, he can preserve the peace and happiness of those living within the walls.

"Sampo Koski from the underworld, that's what he told us, General" The lieutenant had caught another one of those goons trying to squander people for their shells. It is pathetic to feed off from the money of those who worked hard.

Gepard let his thumb brush his lower lip as he think, he crossed his arms and looked at the lieutenant. "How many times was he caught now?"

"I.. I think around 7? 6? I-I'm sorry General, it is quite difficult to keep track when it comes to that criminal, Koski" The lieutenant's words sounded tired, who wouldn't? Apart from the growing numbers of fragmentum monsters, some rogue legion enemies lurk outside. It is an endless battlefield, remaining vigilant at all times is required in the garrison. If they failed to contain the enemies... the defenses from inside are not enough to hold all the citizens in Belobog.

The silvermane guards are both busy from the inside and outside. Adding this scammer, just hopping in the city- moving left and right to disrupt people' lives? Gepard has been hearing this scammer's name again and again these past few months. He somehow became a daily occurrence for the silvermane guards tationed inside to capture Sampo Koski in act... However, Gepard never caught a glimpse of this scammer. He trusted his fellow soldiers, and he thought that perhaps Sampo Koski wouldn't do it again.

Guess he was wrong... Today's report is the last straw. It is time for him to face this infamous Sampo Koski.

As Gepard made his way to the prison, the guards were.. oddly alot? He was confused, but he did not question their judgment considering the amount of times they've captured Koski. It must have flexed their minds on how Koski escapes.

Gepard finally arrived infront of the prison cell. He examined the blue haired man- sitting on the corner of the room, his face barely visible, the shadow did not allow him to see the man's face.

But as soon as he coughed, Gepard saw a glint of green flashing through the dark. He furrowed his brows as he introduced himself.

"Greetings.. I am Gepard Landau, the captain‐"

"- of the silvemane guards? Who wouldn't have guessed!" The man had a high-pitched voice, his tone was.. somehow taunting? His fake jolly tone was definitely a ploy to stir the atmosphere.
