Jayke - Substitute Date

It never occurred to Jay that he was inlove with his bestfriend until the day Sunghoon barged into his room and made him dress up for some blind date. He never got the full details of it, random as it seems, Park Sunghoon is that kind of asshole who would make his own brother cover for a blind date. Though its apparent Sunghoon is just trying to set him up, Jay isn't really interested on romance and such. So it's just one of the days where Jay will tell them the 'truth' about Sunghoon bailing and shit. Sometimes even though Jay tells the reason, they would still insist and try to strike a conversation with him but no one could get it, he's not interested on dating someone.. yet. Jay keeps thinking about the factors when one person is in a relationship and according to a fair share of google articles, the productivity rate slows down. Being in a relationship tends to give you stress and worries, just imagining it makes Jay want to be an aromantic.

Jay arrived at the diner. To say the least, this is the most expensive looking date he had ever seen from Sunghoon's list. Usually it's semi-formal restaurants but this one screams 'classy'. If the ferrari, lamborghini cars didn't made it obvious enough maybe he would have felt better bringing in his old hyundai 4 seater car. Jay slides out of his car and walks to the entrance. He couldn't help but to eye the people entering the resturant. Black gowns, suits and extravagant dresses. Sunghoon didn't trick him into some sugar daddy date right?

Jay scratches the back of his head, he's currently annoyed at his little brother who couldn't even give him a heads up of wearing something formal. Then it striked him, of course that little devil wouldn't give shit. He remembers how Sunghoon loves to place him in these kinds of situation. Besides why would he need to dress accordingly if he's just gonna drop by to say 'hey you're date stood you up'. Jay tries to comfort himself, but soon fails as he see a couple of people wearing jimmy choo jewelry. He bites his lip and swears he will take revenge for whatever this is.

Jay steps forward in the line and placed his hands in his pockets "Table for Park Sunghoon" He says to the lady in front of the reservation table. He caught the lady peeking at him, probably because of his attire. He could feel a tinge of skeptism in her gaze. It was reasonable considering he dressed up so casually. With his jogger pants, sneakers, university jacket and scarf. Its a miracle Jay even had the guts to go in this establishment. God- fuck Sunghoon and his lousy jokes. Her eyes landed back to the clipboard and motioned her pen, downwards.

"Park Sunghoon?" She repeated.

Jay's head springs up. "Yes?"

"I'll lead you to your table" she smiles at Jay, emitting a bright aura in contrast to what she had the first time she saw him. But he decided to brush it off and followed the employee.

Walking their way to the table made Jay realize a few statements.

One, this place is definitely not ran by a fake posh individual. Two, everything is goddamn extravagant in this place-what the fuck? Three, he shall kill Park Sunghoon for letting him attend to this date with his sweatpants and shirt. Four, maybe Sunghoon is legitimately pranking him, setting him up with a sugar daddy date instead. Fifth, he should have never been nice to Park Sunghoon and his dates.

After an elevator ride (yes, he doesn't fucking know why but somehow the table of Sunghoon's date is in the VIP area. Holy shit, right?) the employee successfully lead him to a door. Yep, a door. Not a fucking table. The employee bowed her head and left the scene, leaving Park Jongseong confused, unsure and definitely scared. The endless 'what ifs' scenarios are running in his head. His paranoid ass is not built for this type of shit. The worst case scenario Jay could think of is, Park Sunghoon accidentally summoning an elite gangster ready to harvest his goddamn organs. But Sunghoon wouldn't accept a date if he found the person sketchy, right? Right? Goddamn it Park Sunghoon.

He gulped.

When he opened the door, Jay was frozen in his spot. Because there's no way, what he's seeing is real.
