Weird.

Jae-shin seems to wake up inside a room he barely recognizes. To explain the details, he wasn't sure. Everything looked unfamiliar and new, almost out of this world.

He jumped out of the (guessing from its use) bed and then scratched his head

How did he end up here?

He started fiddling around with the items he could touch, examining each object, trying to figure out their use. Holding a rectangular object in his hand, he shook the item then checked if there was anything inside. It's empty. Jaeshin scratched his head then pursed his lips into a thin line

What the fuck is this?

"Jaeshin-sshi?" Hearing the voice made Jaeshin jump from his position. The thing he was holding started buzzing and creating sounds, Jaeshin held the object, trying to silence it. He clicked a few buttons, but still it wasn't turning off.

"Jaeshin-sshi? Are you awake?"

Just like a joke, the noise became louder

Jaeshin bit his lower lip, panicking as he can't turn off this fucking noise box.

"Jaeshin-sshi?" the sound became firmer, it definitely suggests that the servant would open the door any minute now.

Feeling the pressure in his veins, Jaeshin threw the box into the walls, successfully silencing it. However, now his floor is decorated with, steel, glass and a bunch of never-seen minerals Jaeshin couldn't determine.

"Jaeshin-sshi, I apologize, I must go in"

Jaeshin adverted his gaze in the direction where the voice was heard. He widened his eyes as the two door-looking walls parted, it revealed an... underclothed man. Huh. He had a few garments which is unusual, just a long sleeve top and a pair of pants-it is not odd for Jaeshin to be dressed that way however it's quite puzzling how a person who looks fairly organized to be in this attire, Jaeshin tilted his head and tried to wrap his head around why the servant is underdressed. Did he hit his head somewhere and slept for years then wake up in a new Joseon?

"Jaeshin-sshi, your grandfather has been looking for you" Grandfather? Isn't he dead?

Jaeshin had his eyes in the other direction, thinking if he drank too much last night.

"Jaeshin-sshi?" Jaeshin snapped out and unsurely nodded his head.

"He expects you to meet him in the corporate building immediately" The servant smiled at him then left the room.

Corporate... building?

What the hell is that?

Jaeshin clicked his tongue and placed his hand on his hips

The servant wasn't wearing durumagi, it is a normal clothing piece worn by everyone except for ... well, him- sometimes. The point is, he woke up in an out of this world room with crazy machinery and a servant wearing simple clothing. How should he interpret that?

Well he isn't a thinker, so he moved his feet and looked for something- the man did say his supposedly dead 'grandfather' has something to say. So maybe, Jaeshin could figure out his situation once he goes there.

Jaeshin didn't come off as empty-handed, he picked up one thing from the servant. Pressing his hand on the circular steel attached to the wall, Jaeshin turned the steel, unveiling a compartment filled with cloth.

Stepping inside, he was incredibly mortified, completely confused on the items hanging in each cabinet.

He grabbed one- he assumed- an undergarment. He tried finding the ends to tie it up but he couldn't. Jaeshin deemed it as the worst undergarment in Joseon.

He found a weird durumagi that doesn't fully cover his undergarments, the middle bit is quite exposed. Jaeshin felt slightly stressed as he try to mak these clothes look so much like a casual hanbok, in his dismay, he could see how deranged he made the clothes look. Sighing, he looked up and saw his reflection in a huge mirror, Jaeshin sighs. He isn't usually the type of person who cares about presenting themselves properly, Yong ha was always the one nagging him continuously for looking disorganized in the holy grounds of Sungkyunkwan. However, today is different, he'll be meeting his 'grandfather'. It is only right to show respect even though he's not very much keen on his grandfather's views on politics.
