Childe wasn't one to back down in any fight.
Whether it's from anger or fun, fighting has always been the core of his life.
The whale triggered memories he tried so hard to bury, the whale has been lingering in his mind as a figure he can't defeat.
Now he stood before it. Who is he to refuse such duel?
To satisfy his urge to kill, his curiosity. How lovely to witness it in one round.
But that one round lasted for days... perhaps years. He doesn't know. He lost his ability to determine the time. Nothing helped him indicate the time, either.
The sky was covered in azure, with stars decorating it. A beautiful scenery for a bloody fight ring. It striked as odd to Childe that he's under the sea, continuously fighting yet not feeling any fatigue.
It cried, but Childe hasn't done any damage to it. It's starting to frustrate him.
Igniting his foul legacy, he summoned electro blades and charged towards the whale.
"Die!"

"It's a prescription, open it when you're near the death door, gambler" Aventurine snickered at Ratio's words, truly, it's funny how a traitor casually slides him off this conversation as if nothing happened.
The joy of humanity.
You get betrayed, they pity, and what?
"I don't need your token of betrayal, Ratio" He crossed his arms, with his expression lacking apathy.
"You should have known the moment you said you have no plans. I have my own. I don't need you to hinder me, Aventurine" Spoken like a real scholar. What a bastard. His words cut through thin air, sharp and logical.
Relying against the odds isn't something he expected from Ratio. Unsurprising turn of events, Aventurine knew he'll flip him off the moment he reveal his cards.
"You have your words to say, Doctor. I find them truly annoying"
"Whether you do or not, I don't care. Just take it with you and open it when you wish to do so" Ratio shoved the capsule on Aventurine's chest.
"My my, to have a prescription. Why does it matter if I'll die regardless of what I do?" To sound defeated, that must be what Ratio deciphered.
"You often gamble in higher stakes, that's what I hated. To venture out the mist with no guidance nor vision, I could mistake you as a fool. You act as you please and now you're dying you don't wish to seek for what makes you live. A gambler should always find their ways to live inorder to keep gambling" Ratio doesn't sound like his composed self. It feels nice to witness him looking like this.
Guilt must be running in his veins. Poor Doctor. Getting caught in the crossfire isn't enough but to be the arrow himself without any precaution? Being smart doesn't equate to being free from the shackles of naivety.
"You sound too angry for something you've caused. Tell me Doctor, even if you gave me the correct prescription, why should I trust you?" A little teasing won't hurt.
Ratio avoided Aventurine's eyes, he set his eyes on the capsule within Aventurine's grasp and relaxed his posture.
"There's no way of getting through you. Either way, you never placed your trust in me from the very beginning" He caught that, impressive "So, gambler, for once, place your bet on me and take your chances if you want to live"
