Plot: Jaehyuk is locked in a prison due to murder, did he kill his family or not? Then comes his feisty cellmate who was charged with murder as well, the difference is, it comes with his job. Hamada Asahi was hired as assassin, he didn't knew it was a trap to silence him. He was desperate for money as well.
At first Asahi was disgusted by Jaehyuk, he beated up Jaehyuk- angry at the fact he had the guts to kill the people he should care the most, Asahi values his family-kinda family so much. To learn a cold blooded jerk like Jaehyuk exists, he bullied the guy even though he keeps insisting he's innocent- no one wouldn't believe a prisoner, not Asahi, not anyone.
But one day, Asahi decided to watch Jaehyuk- with his dull eyes, Asahi felt convinced Jaehyuk was mourning. The guy even cried while staring at the window. He looked lost and just sad.
It convinced Asahi, so he talked with Jaehyuk. The guy shared his memories with his family. It touched Asahi's core. He learnt Jaehyuk cared about them and how they were killed in his birthday.
Asahi felt sorry for him. So he started treating him better.
They became close after a few months, then eventually, they fuck lol coz Asahi is s bad boi tm. LMAO bye. Okay. Anywho. They got closer. But Asahi got bailed out by his brother, Yoshi YAY
Asahi promised Jaehyuk he will return to him and bring evidence to prove Jaehyuk's innocence.
So, Asahi started snooping around Jaehyuk's case. He went to several people, he needed to start with something. Then he ended up at the station that handled Jaehyuk's case. He needed an intel, that's where he saw a familiar face, Jeongwoo. Now the game has truly started, Asahi went full mode.
Asahi learns little by little that the killings on Jaehyuk's family and other families are connected. Though the police never tangled the cases together, Asahi found a crucial detail. Since he is an assassin he knew the difference when a person is killed by the same person or not. The killings have attitude, which intrigued Asahi. 18 families dying in a course of 3 years, the body count per family were always 3, never 4 nor 5 just 3. It wasn't linked due to the differences and the killer never left an obvious signature nor style. The killer never did this for show- which is sickening and disgusting.
He told Jaehyuk about his findings, but the young man didn't feel fazed from the information. Asahi thought it's just how Jaehyuk copes, but when Jaehyuk stared at him- it felt distant. As if he became an enemy from Jaehyuk's eyes.
The first 4 family murders were sloppy, it felt experimental. But the other ones, why? And why just 18, including Jaehyuk's. Asahi was convinced the killer stopped to pin the crimes to Jaehyuk.
But as he went deeper to the rabbit hole, he started learning about Jaehyuk. Asahi tracked all of his movements for the past 3 years. Little by little, Asahi's blood ran cold, he started realizing the similarities, mannerisms, lies. Jaehyuk manipulated him. To learn Jaehyuk was an outgoing kid who always does parties yet he disappears midway and returns in the last bit. That's why no one testified, because they never truly knew. They weren't sure and they didn't want to get involved. Stories like that piled up on his hands. Asahi felt on edge. He's slipping on the cliff, hoping Jaehyuk will prove him wrong.
But when he visited Jaehyuk and confronted him about it. Jaehyuk emotionlessly blinked, he didn't even respond but it already confirmed the real him. He really did kill his family. Asahi got fooled.
When Asahi teared up, Jaehyuk put on a smirk, as if he was rejoicing over the fact he played Asahi for years. When asked why did he do this to Asahi, he answered "I got bored" just like how the murders were done, Asahi knew, without a doubt it was indeed Yoon Jaehyuk's work.

Located in a quiet neighborhood of Yongin, two bus away from the town lies a two story building bungaloo with a warming light. Jaehyuk smiled upon meeting their house. He spent most of his day with his friends because it's his birthday today. He knew his family needed time to prepare for their surprise party, they always do it every year. He tried checking if they are done by messaging his dad but he wasn't replying. It's almost 7pm already, they must have done a grand party.
He charged towards the door, turning the knob, the room was dark and eerie. He didn't noticed the lights were off due to the brightness of the streetlight. He found it kinda amazing.
Waiting for someone to turn the lights on, they sure are taking long, Jaehyuk knotted his brows and placed his hands inside his coat "Dad? You guys can turn on the lights now"
Hearing no sound, Jaehyuk's features went down, his lips turned into a thin line. He's starting to get nervous as he receives no response.
"Mom?" Jaehyuk slowly made his way to the living room, since it's dark, it's hard to see the place. But he heard a sound when he stepped in the room, it sounded squishy and viscous. He gulped down, feeling a bit anxious as he goes further. He started searching for the switch and when he turned it on, his knees failed him.
Widening his eyes, he sat on the floor, stunned at the gruesome scene he is seeing.
Dead.
They are all dead.
.
"Yoon Jaehyuk, due to the sufficient amount of evidence, i hearby decree you 10 years of imprisonment with no chance of parole" The judge's hammer made a sound, it echoed through Jaehyuk's ear. He glared at the lawyers in his side while he was being escorted out of the courtroom.
They threw him in a jail cell. Once Jaehyuk heard them lock the doors, he mindlessly sat down near the window.
At his 18th birthday, Yoon Jaehyuk was found guilty of second degree murder. He got charged for his family's case. Although he knew he didn't do it, they said they found no other DNA from the area. It's all just Jaehyuk and his family. There wasn't a sign of forced entry either, which made the police believe Jaehyuk is the perpetrator. They also said his family has been dead 4 hours before he reported the incident, although his side presented an alibi, it was all dismissed as there's no actual proof Jaehyuk spent all of his time with his friends. They said they tried gathering eye witnesses but all of his friends didn't want to testify. They didn't want to get roped in, it was too much trouble. The resturant owners also didn't go, no one defended his side. Hence why he ended up hand cuffed in this cell.
The interoggation didn't
