As a full pledged wanderer, it is customed for Wanderer to brush things off while continuing his journey. Both spiritually and physically, it's beknownst nothing can faze him anymore. As someone who had lived for more than five hundred years, he became used to the concept of being alone.

An empty shell, a puppet as intended but without the strings attached to anyone. A living doll, hollow and cold. That's what Wanderer is.

Nahida would beg to differ. She always wanted Wanderer to live like a human. But really? How can Wanderer mimic such frivolous creatures. Weak, frail, fragile. Unlike Wanderer, humans are full of imperfections, too many flaws, to the point that it's sincerely hard to find the goodness they have. Clearly, there isn't much proof that a human as benevolent as the lesser lord kusanali could exist. One can only dream because humans are tragic fragments of greed. Though it isn't visible to few, it takes in any form, there's just lesser evil.

Perhaps that's too much monologue from him.

The reason for his human distaste at the moment comes in form of a fennec breed that lives in Gandhara ville. It is also annoying to acknowledge he isn't even a human, but still Wanderer thinks there's no difference- that doesn't, of course, apply to his situation. Don't fucking question him. Tighnari is a human, ancient race or what-not, human blood still runs in his veins.

Stomping his way into the chasm, the bitterness sprawled over his mouth. To think lesser lord kusanali handed in a forest ranger job to him? It feels awfully triffling, it's like getting demoted.

There's a reason behind it, however, Wanderer just sees it as some kind of diversion to the reality of the situation. Tighnari is the only scholar in Gandhara Ville who could take dangerous quests involving the Chasm due to its dangerous nature. Right now, Tighnari might be preoccupied instead of the lesser lord kusanali's pushed agenda of the mission being way too dangerous for the fennec fox.

Though he doesn't want to doubt Nahida, it's still obvious how Wanderer is slowly taking up the forest ranger's jobs with his recent expeditions. Tighnari might be involved in research with Alhaitham back in Pardis Dhyai. It makes sense since it hasn't been long. His rampage isn't something to be taken lightly afterall. Aside from that, the traveler said something about a communication terminal, perhaps that's what they've been researching recently.

Wanderer can't honestly be bothered.

It is interesting, yes, but it's not something he'll like to take on.

But, whatever, he just hates how all of Tighnari's responsibilities were placed on his lap, alone.

He went deeper to the Chasm.

When he arrived at the glowing tree, his face tuned into disgust. He hated dealing with the abyss magic. Something about the purple black substance felt menacing and extremely off. How it moves like a goo didn't help its state. A complete abomination. The abyss certainly lack shit for aesthetics, that's one.

It's unsightly to see them randomly scattered in the place, as if it's engulfing the cave. The traveler said he does clean ups whenever he does 'boss fights' whatever the hell is that. But still, they keep sprouting like mushrooms. Out of nowhere, continuously and no one fucking knows why.

What's stranger is the egg in the middle.

Although Wanderer wants to know what the hell does it spawn, but to spend the night in this omnious cavern. Not that Wanderer is scared, more like he might destroy the place out of annoyance. And that would give the Lesser Lord Kusanali a huge problem with the Millelith, he doesn't want to trouble the dendro archon after basically housing him with hospitality. Wanderer doesn't want any fucked up situation with politics to happen, again.
