Eunhyuk/Hyunsu - netflix coz im a lee dohyun fan - time travel plot

Everything has always been a mystery.

Eunhyuk wondered how and why but never really took an action to know because he was too focused on surviving than being curious. Though he questions, he kept his lips sealed and kept his eyes awake in-order for people to live. It was the goal, it has always been the goal. To keep as many people and Eunyoo safe from the dangers of this new world. Eunhyuk needed to do everything. Whether betray, fight or argue. He didn't care. It was for the greater good.

A villian

Cold, harsh and heartless. He heard his name being associated with that word quite often. It was, of course, difficult to hear from the people he is trying to save. But he learned in the hard way that it's what he showed infront of them. So what can he do? Should he clear his intentions? Was it even needed?

The answer is, No

He moved on, he got used to it and eventually, it was forgotten.

The more they spend time inside this compartment, the more different its becoming clear that any of them could be gone the next day. People eventually got used to him and he still hasn't. He tried to, but they looked unreachable. There was a huge gap between him and them, Eunhyuk knows they were trying. It wasn't their fault. It was his. He always tried to be the bigger person. Therefore creating a cliff between them. He has other things running in his mind but them, they have more things to handle on their own. They don't need more because Eunhyuk understands. But, even though he knows their grief, he forgot the feeling long ago. He became an empty shell. He was the one who became unreachable. He took all the problems for himself. Everyone thought he was cocky, selfish, know-it-all. But he wasn't, he chose to live this way to save these people who look forward to their future.

He took the lead not because he wanted to feel in control, he needed to be in control to make this situation bearable for everyone.

And now that they are safe, Eunhyuk can die happily with no regrets. He fulfilled his goal: to secure their safety. Though he wasn't sure about the next events, He placed alot of faith in both Eunyoo and Hyunsu. He knows they can manage on their own. Eunhyuk trusts them.

He gripped the family picture tight and sobbed while watching the cctv footage of the survivors running towards the other direction.

When he felt everything collapse, he closed his eyes and accepted his fate.

Death.

Into the void of nothingness. He was there for god knows how long. But to tell the truth, he felt at ease. With nothing in his mind, he never felt so relaxed in his whole life.

No sounds, no pain and no emotions.

He was 21 when he died, some people would have regrets and wished they stayed alive. Eunhyuk was one of the few who didn't look back and simply accepted his fate. Being dead was the only way to escape from that hell. Besides, he deserves this for killing most of the people in the residence. Lives for a life. Though he didn't deserve peace, his death would mean he repaid his debts to them. He will cause more harm than good. It's better this way.

That's what he wants to think.

They are gonna do well without him. Hyunsuk, Eunyoo, and the rest. They will be more happier and live. Their kids wouldn't know who he is, but at least they survived. That's the point of everything, Eunhyuk died finishing one promise in his life. He fulfilled his parents' wish. He took care of Eunyoo until he died and that's enough for him.

"Yah! Eunhyuk oppa!" How nostalgic, hearing that makes Eunhyuk feel like he's back in the past. Eunyoo used to scream at the top of her lungs in front of his door to get her pocket money.

"Yah!!!" A loud one, it usually means she's gonna bust the door open because she'll be late for class. Eunhyuk never thought he'll miss Eunyoo being like this. Now, this makes him think about Eunyoo. Eunhyuk wishes she's doing well.
