The great misunderstanding- Jaesahi (tb published)

Settings: Office
Idea: Jaehyuk accidentally stumbled upon a letter on Asahi's desk, now he thinks his boss likes him.

Jeongwoo, who's a casual visitor in Asahi's office, left a draft of his letter in Asahi's table. He's the one who has a crush on Jaehyuk.

Due to the misunderstanding, Asahi was left between the two. Chaos ensues as Jeongwoo nervously finds his love letter draft and Jaehyuk approaching Asahi to confront him about the letter.

Chapter 1:

10:04 am

Yoon Jaehyuk, his first name Jae being a gender neutral name given to many and hyuk a frequent name used for alot of men. Just like his name, Jaehyuk is a normal guy with normal aspirations. Behind his eyes, he doesn't see much, his eyes only sees what's infront of him. He's been living his life narrowly. Just following the flow to survive.

"Jaehyuk, can you pass these to the office for me?" Said by his co-worker named Park Jihoon. Usually he'll bombard Jaehyuk with trivial tasks but today seems to be different. He kept handing Jaehyuk important documents and paperworks, which only means one thing, he has a deadline today.

Jaehyuk grabbed the envelope and rushed to the creative director's office.

10:15 am

When he arrived infront of the door, Jaehyuk peeked at the window, checking whether their boss is inside. Seeing there's no one in, Jaehyuk cautiously turned the knob and it surprisingly opened.

He tiptoed his way in, he doesn't know why he's acting discreet about this even though no one is around but he did it anyways. His head kept turning, checking whether someone is behind him.

It didn't take long till he reached the table. When he was gonna place the envelope on the table, his eyes caught his name written in a paper. Jaehyuk furrowed his eyebrows then brushed his finger on his name. It was written carefully. It piqued Jaehyuk's interest.

Jaehyuk looked around before diving in. He started removing the papers above the letter. He successfully retrieved it, but now, seeing his name written in a pink-scented paper with a beautiful meticulous hand writing, Jaehyuk felt an ominous feeling swirling inside him.

10:20 am

The door opened before Jaehyuk could read the contents. He placed the letter behind his back and smiled at his boss "Seongsaengnim! Jihoon sunbae left you this envelope! He said it contains a few details on the uh- for the uh-" tilting his head, Jaehyuk's eyes found it's way back to His boss' eyes and raised his brows for a second "The game project!"

His boss, Hamada Asahi, blinked in response. Oh crap, did Jaehyuk say something wrong? Was the document a game project or a movie concept- Jaehyuk groaned mentally, how could he forget such crucial information.

"I see" His boss' responded with a flat tone, Jaehyuk couldn't tell whether he was wrong or right. Jaehyuk nervously smiled.

His boss flickered his eyes up and stared at Jaehyuk with an expecting gaze, Jaehyuk couldn't decipher what Asahi wants to say. After a minute of staring contest, his boss inhaled through his nose "You may go" Oh. Oh. Jaehyuk flushed red, he bowed continuously while keeping his hands behind his back.

He rushed to the door without letting Asahi see the paper he just stole from the table.

Oh right, the letter.

Jaehyuk fumbled on his way as he goes to a blindspot, the emergency stairs. When he secured his spot, he carefully brought the paper up and started reading.

Dear Jaehyuk,

It might seem a bit weird to write a letter these days, but I can't contain it anymore.

I love you

Jaehyuk's eyes widen

The way you smile, the way you laugh, whatever you do makes my heart burst-it's almost comedic that because you never noticed.

Judging from the scribble after that paragraph, the letter wasn't finished. Jaehyuk folded the letter neatly. He was stunned, of course. Because, Hamada Asahi, the coldest of the cold, saying I love you in a letter for him? Jaehyuk didn't know what to feel.

Happy? Sad? Weirded out?

Maybe he should confront his boss about this. But then he kinda violated his privacy so maybe he shouldn't?

Jaehyuk banged his head on the wall, he shouldn't have done that.

Hamada Asahi entered the building with his suitcase on his hand.
