A slight headache with a mix of nausea as he opens his eyes. Chishiya wasn't aware of what happened but whatever it is, he began to see the world in a different light. His mind started reconstructing the meaning of ignorance when he woke up, was it guilt? No, it was something much more. A thing or two, to make him realize how much he has been longing to hang on to his life, to value his own life. But what is it?
He wishes he knows.
His doctors told him that his heart stopped beating for a minute, a really odd phenomenon as it happened to everyone in the hospital and no one really knows why exactly.
For all Chishiya knows some nurse could have accidentally tripped over a wire in the electricals but a question would follow up on that assumption, why would a nurse go down there? The guard? A doctor? unless of course, some political big shot got roped into the meteorite.
There's no use pondering over nonsense things. The only thing he should be thankful for is, he is still alive.
Although the past him wouldn't agree, he felt happy knowing he's breathing. It's such a weird case for Chishiya to accept this with a hint of melancholy swirling in his chest. Even though he should feel like he won, he doesn't feel like a winner. Rather, blood was shed for his life- well technically the meteorite pretty much killed half of the population- the point is, he has done shit to get to this point. He felt like he fought for his life to live and he never felt that way before.
"Oi, what's your name?" Ah, a bandaged man asked. He was located one table away from Chishiya. He knows the danger of talking to a stranger, but he had a feeling this guy is someone familiar.
"Shuntaro, Shuntaro Chishiya" Usually Chishiya would avoid small talks, but with him, talking to him felt right.
"I'm Niragi Suguru" Somehow, hearing his name isn't foreign. It rolls off his mind quite easily as if he knew him. But that's impossible because Chishiya is aware he never heard that voice in the hospital before. Truly weird. In the streets? Maybe? But Chishiya isn't someone who would recognize a person with their voice.
"Apparently, our hearts stopped beating for a moment" Chishiya isn't sure what he wants to know about this guy, but something in him tells him to understand him. But, why?
"Yeah yeah, I was told like a hundred times! Good to know you got the news" It was sarcastic and rude, but Chishiya can't help but smile.
"My bad, I just woke up"
It felt odd to think that nothing has changed at all.

"Arisu"
"Arisu"
"Arisu!"
An excruciating pain started rising from his chest, and when the heat got to him, his eyes opened. He clenched the fabric of his clothes and started breathing heavily.
"You're awake" A voice coming from his side, Arisu quickly recognized him "Hayato" Saying his brother's name, that's when Arisu realized he is in the real world.
Trying to hold the memories from his dreams, Arisu failed. It instantly fell into an endless pool, the emptiness shallowed his memories in full chunk. Now Arisu felt lost, he felt like he needed to remember it but he couldn't. He was frustrated but he can't seem to grasp why.
