Jake's gaze always followed Jay. He's been observing Jay for the past few days, he did it discretely.

Although it's been years, Jake never encountered a Jay like this. He met different types of Jay. Overly confident one, dumb one, annoying one, and the normal Jay. With most of the Jay he met, being the normal one, Jake hasn't met a Jay who made his appearance in the academy earlier than expected.

It made Jake feel a tinge of hope, perhaps he already done enough to bring everything back.

The world must be giving him a sign, this timeline might just be the one. Jay remembered one of his past life, there might be a chance to bring him back. Jake just needs to see more, he needs Jay to change. If Jay doesn't, Jake may need to kill him once again.

Despite having these thoughts, Jake conversed with the few people he's around. He should keep his reputation in this life. If this Jay isn't the one, he needs a reason to kill Jay in this timeline.

In Jake's eyes, it's a two way road. It's either Jay proves himself he's the one or he'll die just like the other ones.

Jake laughed along with his friends and excused himself from the table.

He'll know what kind of Jay he is soon, Jake just has to be patient.

Jay find it unnerving to see how quiet Jake has become. He knows whats coming, he knows Jay would turn into a monster yet he's not doing anything. It's bullshit, he's bullshit. Even if there's something at sake, why isn't he interacting with him? Isn't Jay the main problem? Jake is not even checking his shit, he's just- why is this making Jay mad, it shouldn't be his problem, except it is, if Jake restarts the time again he'll be roped with Jake and it's shitty. To tell the truth, Jay seriously wants to barge in Jake's room and fucking get a sword, pierce it on him or something- because goddamn, he's putting him in this shitty loop for what? Why couldn't he just died the moment he did?

"Shim Jaeyun!" Jay groaned and closed his eyes. He threw his head back and heavily sighed.

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard the lunch bell.

Jongseong erased those thoughts. He should deal this rationally, instead of acting rash, Jay decided to make his reputation better than before.

Walking at the cafeteria, his eyes searched for Kim Sunoo. Upon seeing the pink haired male sitting in a table along with 3 more people, Jay headed towards their table.

All eyes were fixated on him, Jay knows this will cause a huge commotion between the nobles and commoners. But who cares? Fuck them, Jay's situation is more important than theirs, so they can get lost.
