Part two: The angry belly

I can't blame him on that, while it is a good film but I feel like they overshadowed that moment of the movie. I mean, if I was Rose I would be heartbroken as well and I sure as hell wouldn't want to let go of Alphonse, but if I still hold on to him while he is risking life for mine. It's like adding salt-water and lemon juice to a forever open wound.

"I get what you mean Al, but you mustn't forget that the film is based on the actual advent. Who are we to say that someone didn't experience that very moment?"

"Okay, okay, okay, I get it. You know that scene, with in the back of the car and the windows get all foggy, hell yeah," he said with a cheeky smile which also caused me to blush heavily.

"See now you're blushing."

"Al, shut up and get your ass over here. Because I want to cuddle right now."

"Oh shut up and cuddle you? Say no more fam, you want to be the little spoon? You know what don’t even answer I already know. Scooch on over, let your boy through." Al told me while coming closer to bed and while I moved to make space for him. And when he climbed in, he immediately started to hold me.

"There we go, I’m not squeezing you too tight am I?"

"No, you're good sweet cheeks," I responded with a smile to which he smiles back.

"Okay."

"Hey Al, are you sure that you don't have anything else to do? Like, I'm taking you away from anything right?"

"No I got nothing else going on today, I just want to spend my day with you if you’ll have me and we can do whatever you want; it’s all about you today. We can just lay here, I can tell you a story or what else, I could...I could...yeah I don’t know, I’m just going just going spoon you. Oh! I know what I could do, I could talk in your ear a little bit, would you like that?" Said Al as he brought me in closer and started to whisper in my ear which sends shivers down my spine.

"If you're going to talk like that, could you tell me a story then," I said as I slowly sink into his hold.

"Story? Okay. So the other day I was walking through town and I saw these kids playing hide and go seek; kind of reminded me and when I was at age here. There weren’t a lot of kids to play with but there were a few. And I used to hide out behind this one guy he moved out years ago this one guy, he had like this dog, big dog. The dog was bigger than me, bigger than Barkley. I was like, I don’t know ten? So the dog was bigger than me."

"I find it hard to believe that there was a dog bigger than Barkley but go on."

"And the dog had his dog house that was like, it might as well been like a kids treehouse! It wasn’t a tree it was a dog obviously but I used to hide in there because the dog was only ever outside when the do was off work so I was hiding in there, in the dog house."

"Hang on, you mean to tell me that you jumped over the guy's fiance?!"

"Yeah, yeah, I hopped over the guy's fence yeah. So I was hiding the dog house and I guess the dude had like, I don’t know, half-day at work or something. the guy came home and I hear and pull up in the driveway and obviously, I wasn’t supposed to be in this man's yard, so I hear him and the dog is barking cause it gets excited anytime the guy comes home; the dog is barking, the guy is getting out of his car, I’m in there sweating. I hear all my friends are like running by like you know raising hell, chasing each other and like I guess they were just so preoccupied doing whatever else they were doing when they forgot about me. like they could have like been a distraction for your boy or something; but no, no distraction," he said as his story started to get intense which also began to get me on the edge.
