"You, expecting someone?"

"Yeah actually, I do," I said as I walked up to the door.

"Oh babe, you didn't." His answers have been confirmed as I opened the door, only to reveal Robin and Seth. I can already tell that this is going to have a rough start.

"Well hey there friend," Seth said as he and Robin entered Alphonse's home. And immediately he caught the scent of the freshly made cinnamon rolls in the air.

"You really did make cinnamon rolls for me."

"I did tell you that she wouldn't let you leave on an empty stomach," said Robin as she gave him a soft smile but just as he was going to respond to her, he notices that Al was standing near the kitchen.

"Oh, you're here."

"Yeah, I'm here," Alphonse said with a dry tone, clearly not happy with Seth being here at his own home but the minute he looked at me, also shows that he was unhappy with me as well.

"Babe, did you not think that maybe you know, mentioning that we were going to have a guest would have been a good idea? Just you know, a little heads up?"

"Hey hey watch your tone when you're talking to my best friend."

"You're what?!"

"Well as much as I'd like to piss you off, they are officially my one and only friend and are best by default. Along with Robin of course, but I said what I said pinky," he said while giving her a side-eye smile which she both noticed and blushes slightly.

"Hey hold on-"

"Come on Al, less talking for now and more eating. It will be lunch before we know it," Robin said as she cuts his sentence off and leads Seth into the kitchen.

"Thanks for having me over. Sorry we're late, I had some business to take care of."

"That's alright Seth, I'm just glad to see that the both of you made it over," I said to him with a smile. The reaction and treatment that I'm giving to must have really been killing Alphonse as he just suddenly bursts out while grabbing my shoulder and turning me to face him, which took me by surprise.

"Why are you letting him in?! Talk, we talked yesterday and I said my piece!"

"Well I did need to get Betty from you and you do have her just laying there. We're ya'll in the middle of something? I can come back if you need some privacy."

"No no no, just take it and go."

Yeah, Al really isn't very pleased with what's happening right now. And I don't blame him, since I didn't tell him that I invited Seth over but it's not like I could just tell him; I'm doing all of this for a reason. Both of them really need to sit down and talk things out, otherwise, things won't get better if they just ignore it all. It's also the reason why Robin chose to come along and help out with the situation since she has gone through similar moments back in the city.

"Would you like some coffee Seth," Robin asked with a smile while Al attempted to stop her.

"What, no no, don't do that! He doesn't need coffee!"

"Oh I definitely do need coffee, black please."

"Coming right up!"

"Thank you," he said as his eyes never left Robin's figure and watches her making his hot drink. He's so into her, I just don't think he realises it yet. And yet despite his suddenly good manners it still pissed off Alphonse.

"Oh don't start with that mama raised me proper shit! Yes sir, no ma'am and thank you and please and all that charm and shit. That won't work on them! They like the rough around the edges approach."

"How do you know what I like when it comes to a guy anyways? Besides, that sounds more like Ava than me."

"Hey!"

"Sorry but it's true," Robin said with a slight laugh and places Seth's coffee on the table.

"Oh right, you probably got her convinced you were the bad boy type, right sweet little Alphonse. Go on tell, me more about how my best friend here likes it, I'm curious."

"I fail to see how that's any of your business and stop acting like your pals. You don't know the first thing about them!"

"I know that they think me and you need to have a talk. And the fact that I showed up late and you still don't have a clue that I was coming, tells me that your beloved doesn't exactly feel like you're the most understanding and approachable guy. At least not as much as your sorry sanctimonious ass wants to believe it is," said Seth as his tone of voice slightly change at the end while drinking his coffee. I really don't like to where this is going, so much so that it makes me nervous.

"You Really love stirring shit up don't you? Quit putting words in their mouth!"

"Fine, tell him then bestie. He can't read a damn room to save his life."

The minute he said I literally felt everyone's eyes on me, wanting to hear on what I had to say but I never thought that I would become exposed like this, especially to Alphonse. No doubt that he's very confused right now. If there ever was a moment where I need to tell him on what happened between me and Seth then it may as well be now.
