"First thing's first, we have to get you to each village to recieve the command from the elders for the armies." Janelle set your circlet on your head, making sure it was perfectly placed. "You look perfect." You let out a breath, staring at yourself in the mirror. It had been ages since you had seen yourself dressed this way.
"How long do you suppose it's going to take?" You asked, looking back at her as you fixed the fingerless gloves around your hands, held with golden rings around your middle fingers. "Rhoam said he wanted to have the big ceremony completed by the end of the week at the latest."
"All four of the elders have their schedules freed up for the next eight days, I believe. You have enough time." She handed you your broadsword, and you slipped it into it's usual spot on your right hip. Opposing the quiver near your left. "I can't believe it's gotten to this point."
"I can't either." Your words followed hers, and you blinked slowly as you looked back at the mirror, her hands now resting comfortably on your shoulders. "We've been fighting this battle for far too long. I'm glad Rhoam is finally taking action."
"Right." You could see the sadness in the glance she gave towards the mirror, and you reached up to hold one of the hands near your head. "Urbosa's waiting downstairs for you, dear. I don't want you to be late."
"I'll see you in a few days. Thank you, Aunt Janelle." You nodded to each other, and she gave you a small wave as you left her room.
As you arrived downstairs, you saw the chosen champions waiting downstairs for you. You stopped at the bottom, now being able to see... Nolan's brother...?
"Are you sure _____ is going to be a proper leader?" He asked, and this had all the champions exchanging looks with each other. Nearly in question. "I just think it should be the hero. Right?" Revali opened his beak but Urbosa hushed him.
"Excuse me, Sir Carl?" Everyone turned around to see some guards standing by Nolan's side. "Sir Nolan... he did not pull the sword successfully." Carl looked over his exhausted brother, and Nolan made a quick second of eye contact with you. "Let's go."
"We'll definitely consider your idea, Sir Carl." Urbosa sneered, and the young boy glared at her as he and Nolan were taken out. He tried to fight. Nolan just let them take him. You were stood frozen on the stairs.
"_____?" Your name caught your attention, and you quickly turned to the four champions, who seemed a bit surprised to see you. "How long have you been here?"
"A few minutes." You hopped down the last step and made your way over to them, hands intertwined behind your back. "Janelle told me you were waiting for me."
"We are. We're ready to leave to set you up with all of the armies." Urbosa was the only one who could face you, as the others were looking down the hall that Nolan and Carl left through. "Are you ready?"
"Yes," You looked behind you at the banner between the spilt staircases, holding a painting of the Hyrulean Crest. "We better get going before it gets too late."

By early the next morning, all five of you arrived at the domain and gave time to King Dorephan to set up. While you waited, Sidon brought you some icecream.
"Thank you, Sidon." You smiled at the young zora prince, who gave you a tiny smile and a nod before running off with some of his friends to find Mipha and Dorephan.
"Lady _____!" Riezo came down the stairs, nearly getting tripped by the group of little zoras running up, and young redirected your attention from your snack. "His highness is ready for you."
"King Dorephan." You bowed as you got to the pedestal before the king, and he bowed his head to you. "Thank you for taking the time out of your schedule for this."
