"Alright, I think that's everything." You breathed as you zipped up your bag and moved it aside while you grabbed your weapons. "Link, are you ready?" You glanced over at him, and he nodded and heaved his bag onto his shoulder while you pulled your scabbard over your back.

You had been in Rito Village now for nearly a week, but you knew the faster you appeased Vah Medoh, the faster you'd be able to save the rest of Hyrule and then come back to your children once again.

"We best get downstairs and find Teba. Come on." You led his downstairs, and you soon found Teba waiting on the landing with Amalia and Kai. "We're here." You walked over to them, and they all looked back at you with small smiles.

"Okay, so, here's the game plan," Teba started, looking up at the Divine Beast in the sky. "I'm going to bring Link up there while _____ uses her scroll, and once we're high enough, we start attacking the defense units that Vah Medoh has with bomb arrows. Got it?" You both gave firm nods, and he gave one back.

"Are you sure you're going to be able to use your scroll?" Amalia asked, taking a step closer to you. "I don't want you to get hurt."

"I'll be fine, don't worry about me. We'll be back soon if everything goes well." You reassured her, and she and Kai agreed. They gave you a quick hug before letting you get into position on the edge of the landing with Link and Teba, and at Teba's signal, you used wind to send yourself flying up towards Vah Medoh.

You looked below you as you were carried up with a draft of wind, paraglider tight in your grip, and it amazed you just how high Vah Medoh was above Rito Village. You felt a lot colder the higher you got, and you could hear Link and Teba flying up next to you. They passed you, but Teba stopped once he saw he was higher than Medoh, and you managed to stop yourself beside them.

“Link, the updraft up here should keep you in the air without my help. But let me know if we need to regroup.” Teba said as he looked back at the boy, who nodded and got his paraglider ready. “I’ll fly down towards each cannon and draw their fire, and you two shoot them with bomb arrows. We good on that?” You both agreed on the plan, and Teba let Link fall off his back before he dove down towards the first cannon.

You and Link glided down to it, and as Teba was distracting it, Link shot the first arrow. It did a good amount of damage but without destroying it, so you grabbed one of your bomb arrows and set it on fire before shooting it, which blew the cannon up for good. Teba called out and flew to the right, and the pair of you followed him to the next side.

“Ah!” This time the cannon spotted Link first, so it aimed at him. He waited for it to shoot before falling a bit so it would miss him, and once it did, he let himself get carried up again and towards it. It shot one at Teba while Link prepared his arrow, and then another beam was sent to Link right before he released his arrow, and after avoiding it, he did. Another good shot.

You did the same thing you had done before, setting it on fire and then shooting it, which nearly hit Teba but he was swift enough to avoid it and let it destroy the cannon.

“Watch where you’re shooting those things!” He yelled, and you apologized as he flew by you and over to the next cannon. You and Link followed, and this time, the cannon aimed at you. You dodged it by gliding to the left, and then Link went to shoot another bomb arrow but missed. You tried this time, and instead it blew up against the barrier.

Link tried his one more time, and even while it hit, your next one still failed, leaving you to grow a bit frustrated. You got yourself closer to the cannon while it was distracted by Teba, but after it shot, it spotted you and aimed at you. You went to shoot a bomb arrow, but it shot first, forcing you to shield yourself with a fire barrier and release your arrow, which did blow up the cannon, but the impact of the explosion knocked you out of the air.
