"It can't possibly be that hard to find our way through this thing, _____!" Link exclaimed, happily strolling into the lost woods. You had to grab his arm to stop him. "_____! I told you, it'll be fine. If I was the sword holder before, that means I must have a certain sense around this, right?"

"I doubt it. I've been in this forest three times and I have no idea how to get around here. Well, not without this." You grabbed a torch and lit the candle at the stop, and Link looked at it in confusion. "Where the sparks go, that's where we follow. Come on."

You led him following the sparks of the torch, and soon enough you hit the next spot. You glanced back at Link, who was reading the map of the place.

"Link, looking at the map isn't going to help. There's trees covering the view of the path from above." He didn't listen, so you grabbed the slate out of his hands and attached it to your hip. "I'm sorry, did you not hear me?" He stuck his tongue out at you, and you rolled your eyes.

"I don't think I trust you." He folded his arms, and you scoffed a bit.

"When have I ever given you a reason to not trust me?" You asked, and he shrugged and started thinking as you kept walking. Twice in that time he almost walked the wrong way and you had to pull him back to your side. The second time you kept hold of his arm.

"Oh!" He pulled it away from your grip. "How about that time, I don't know, maybe two or three weeks ago, that you told me you knew your way around Rudania and then I'M the one who carried our whole adventure?"

"You did do pretty good leading when we were helping Goron City," You told him, and he smiled a bit and felt proud hearing your words. "You're doing a lot better being a leader in general, Link. I have full faith that when this whole ordeal is over, you'll be no less than a great captain, or even king."

"I still don't know why you have your heart set so strongly on the belief that Zelda and I are going to get married."

"Just a hunch."

You laughed a bit, and Link rolled his eyes and playfully pushed you a bit. You stopped at another checkpoint, and then turned with the flame and kept going.

"I'll have you know, in a couple of the memories I had with Zelda, she didn't like me that much." He shrugged, and you thought a bit about how much she disliked him at first. She only doubted herself more when he came along, but you also remembered how her powers awakened because of him.

"Zelda didn't dislike you, rather, the fact that you were so ready after less than a year of being under our training, while she wasn't ready after ten years of training under her father." You shrugged, and he nodded slowly and looked ahead at the path. "Now, Revali, disliked you for quite the opposite reason. He thought he was more ready than you, and that he was the key to defeating Ganon."

"What about the others? I mean, I had nice memories of those three." He seemed panicked, and you started laughing as you turned again.

"I mean, Mipha loved you Link. Sidon literally told you she had feelings for you, so," You said, and he went all red again. "And Daruk was like your best friend. Those two liked you long before you became the Champions. Urbosa did like you, yes, in fact, she even taught you how to sneak into Gerudo Town when Zelda tried to hide from you now that I think about it."

"She hated me that much?" He asked. "Zelda, I mean. Urbosa sounds awesome, she looked like she was really cool when we met her, but Zelda... I guess I'll have to wait and see when we save her."

"It's gonna be okay, Link. Trust me."

"Back again at the trust me talk! I don't trust you! Especially 'cause you didn't answer my question about Rudania!" You burst out laughing again, and he folded his arms and waited patiently for an answer. "_____!"
