"I saw the hero head into Rito Village earlier with Teba."

"And what am I supposed to do with that information?"

"I think your mother was with him."

"Is this some kind of cruel joke?"

"Mother! I want you to meet a couple Hylians I found." Teba walked into the top room, and you and Link stopped behind him. "They claim to be the heroes who are going to help save Vah Medoh." Teba moved out of the way, and you and Link quickly bowed.

"The heroes?" A man's voice said, and Teba nodded and gestured to the pair of you. "What kind of heroes?"

"The Champions from the Great Calamity!" You took a quick glance up to see an old owl sitting in a rocking chair with a woman next to him who stood facing the outside, but she looked back at Teba when she heard this. "One says she's the Elemental Scroll Wielder and the other thinks he's the hero."

"Young man, please stand up." The owl ordered, and Link rose to his feet and held his hands together behind his back. "He has the Sheikah Slate! Though, that could just make him a descendant of the Champions. What do you think, dear?" He turned to the woman, who shook her head, and then he sighed. "Teba, you're mother has been feeling a bit unwell today, perhaps you should take these two to get set up in the inn for now."

"Yes father. Come along, you two." Teba started walking down, and Link hurried to follow him, but you were busy staring at a scarf on the table. It looked familiar. "_____? Are you coming?"

"Oh, yes, I'm sorry." You started walking downstairs, taking your mind off the scarf.

"Wait," The woman said, and you stopped and looked up at her. "Did you say _____?" She turned around, and your eyes met with her green ones, and both of you gasped. You almost felt dizzy. "Mother?!"

"Amalia?!" You stood there in shock for a few long seconds, hearing Teba and Link rush back up the stairs, and the owl looked between the two of you, and then he seemed to remember. Amalia held her trembling wing up to her mouth, and you both smiled a bit. She rushed over to you, and you threw your arms open for her.

"I can't believe you're really here," She sobbed as she hugged you, and you gently stroked her hair while you tried to hold back your own tears. "I thought I'd never see you again."

"It's okay, Ami, I'm here now." She pulled away and wiped her tears, and you let out a relieved sigh and smiled, a tear running down your cheek. Then you heard Teba and Link gasp.

"Wait- what do you mean mother?" Teba asked, mouth agape and eyes wide open. Amalia nodded, and you were still smiling until you remembered what Teba had called her. "Are you- you're my grandmother?!" You felt like you were going to pass out.

"Mom! Teba!" A dark blue bird walked up the stairs with a little white and grey rito in his wings and looked a bit confused when he got to the top, but held the little rito out to Teba. "Tulin was looking for you."

"Dad!" You would have fainted had Link not put a hand on your shoulder to keep you stable. "Who's this?"

"This, Tulin, is Link, and that's your great-"

"Okay okay," You stopped him, still trying to process the first title. "I'm a grandparent?" You looked at Amalia, who giggled a bit and shrugged. "Are these both your boys?"

"That's Teba, as you've seemed to already have met him, and that's Harth. They're mine and Kaneli's sons." She told you, and you had to take a deep breath in as you absorbed all of this sudden information. "And yes, they're our only children. Tulin is Teba's only child."
