"For the love of the goddesses, how long is this going to take?" Revali groaned, trudging along in the grass with his wings dragging along his sides and his beak pointed towards the sky. "I'm so tireeeeed."

"Revali, we literally JUST left the castle! Goodness, you are such a baby." You looked over at your husband, still acting as if having to walk such a distance was the end of the world.

"I am not!" He snapped, folding his wings as he picked up pace to catch up to you. "I'm just tired, and my wings are sore from all the training this week and now we have to walk all the way to the Great Hyrule Forest."

"You'll be fine, rito champion. If I were you, I wouldn't be complaining." Urbosa rolled her eyes, looking down at Kai as he played with her necklace. Amalia was sat on Daruk's shoulder, pointing at everything around. Trees, birds, butterflies, everything she could see.

"We'll be there before you know it." You patted his shoulder, and he groaned again, causing you to turn the patting into a shove. "Any more groans, and I am going to tape your beak shut." He opened his beak again just to bother you, and you instead took your hand and wrapped it around it. "Don't test me, ace archer."

"We're going to go straight that way, and then once we enter the forest, you guys say you know how to get through the forest itself." Zelda pointed out towards the area, and you and Revali both nodded. "Then we'll be fine once we get there. How about we all stop complaining so we all arrive in one piece?"

"Fine." Everybody agreed, and as Revali made a subtle attempt to give you a tiny nudge, you shoved him practically off his feet.

So much for peace.

"Listen here, I'M the one with a map. If you're anything close to smart, you'll let me do this!" Janelle pulled the paper away from Revali, who quietly mocked her. She rolled her eyes and shook her head. "When we get home I'm going to eat chicken in spite of you."

"Excuse me?! Do you even know how offensive that is?!" Revali gasped, throwing his wings out into the air. "_____, can you remind your aunt of her manners?"

"You literally just yanked my map away from me! You better mind YOUR manners, bird brain!" She really looked like she wanted to shove Revali into the black of the forest. At this point, all of the other champions probably did too.

"Revali, love-" He pushed his wing out, nearly hitting you, and you stumbled back a bit. "Hey rito champ! Guess who's right behind you!" He turned around, and though you knew it was completely accidental, you still grew frustrated with him.

"I'm sorry, _____, I didn't know you were ri-"

"All of you, shush for a little bit." Urbosa called out over the group, walking in the back with some of the knights walking with you for extra protection. "I'm not afraid to tape all three of your mouths shut for a little while."

"We haven't been that bad, Urbosa." You told her, watching as Revali peeked over Janelle's shoulder to try and look at the map, and she waved him away as soon as she noticed. "It's fine."

"Your little trio up front hasn't exactly been quiet. And I'm in the very back." She huffed, and you looked back at her. "To say it simply- I've had to listen to you three bicker for the past hour and a half. It gets a little annoying."

"Well, I'm sorry to hear that, but-" You tripped over something, and once you looked up, you saw Revali walking to your side. "Hey! Again?!"

"Look, I'm sorry that you aren't watching where you're going!" He reached his wing out, and you took it with a huff, letting him pull you up. "How close are we now, Miss Mappy?"

"If you must know, I'm getting very close to shoving you into that bush over there." She pointed into the darkness, and Revali made a face at her, eyes glaring at her figure. "We're almost at the center."

"Good. Then I can fly home with _____ and my children and get rid of you and your insensitivity to my feelings." Revali scoffed as he shook his head, placing his wing on your shoulder.

"I can make your trip there a bit faster." Revali tilted his head at her 'idea'. "I can always dropkick you and hope it was hard enough to get you there." Revali made a face before looking away, and Janelle made a pout. "You don't like my idea? Alright, but if you ever want me to just say the word. It'll be my pleasure."

"Ha, as if you could even! Some princess you think you are. No girl can touch this." You, Urbosa, Mipha, and Zelda clapped your hands together as loudly as you could, startling the rito so much he nearly jumped three feet into the air. "Sorry, sorry."

"Next time it'll be a snap." Urbosa threatened, pressing her fingers together. Revali tried to get closer to you, but you bumped your hip into him, startling the poor bird even more as he was still focused on the desert chief. "Right. Stay in your place."

"Revali, what are you?" Janelle asked, and he had to think about what she meant by the question. "Name one woman here that does not hold higher power than you." He looked around, pointing to Amalia. "Princess's daughter."

"But _____'s my wife! Princess's husband!" He pointed to you, quickly looking down at you as you were leaning against him while you walked, one wing around you.

"Amalia is a direct descendant of me. Part of the bloodline. You simply made a vow to love me forever." You kissed his cheek, and he blushed a bit but also seemed a little frustrated with this. "And I love you, Revali."

"Right, stay in line archer boy. It'll do you some good." Janelle looked back at the map, Rhoam walking a bit closer to her side to see it as well.

"You best listen to them, honey." You teased, getting close to his cheek. "Well, I guess you may be a stubborn rito, but at least you're my stubborn rito." You hugged him from the side, and he looked down at you, wings tight to his side thanks to your arms, and he could only let out a breath.

"I see the forest entrance." Janelle hurried ahead, and everyone followed her. "Here we are." She walked inside, and everyone else followed with a bit of amazement. "_____, go on." She gestured for you to go ahead, and you nodded and went up ahead to stand before the Great Deku Tree.

"Great Deku Tree." You said as you bowed down, and he was silent as you spoke. "We have arrived to check on the status of the Master Sword."
