"Zelda?" You strolled down the hall, stopping to reach for the golden handle of her door, only having to push it the rest of the way open as it was already mostly open. A small smile was brought to your lips as you spotted the princess standing out on her balcony. "There you are."
"_____! I didn't know you were here yet." She turned around, a bit surprised as the you walked over to her and stood next to her. "What are you doing here so early?"
"I came to see how you were doing. Besides, I needed a break from my training anyways." You leaned on the railing, relaxed as you took in the fresh evening air. "We have a week left until your birthday."
"I know." Her words were whispered and filled with tension, and you could feel that immediately. "I'm worried." She held her place straight, staring out across the field and out at the highlands.
"We all are. Even if we were fully prepared, it's easy to worry." You glanced at her, giving her a small smile to help her relax a bit. "Trust me when I say no matter what we're going to save Hyrule."
"It would be so much easier if-" You put a silence to her words, bringing herself up to face her directly. She sighed. "Mother would probably think me a disgrace if she were here."
"I don't know how many times we have to tell you that she wouldn't." She faced the field again, and you stood behind her and placed your hands on her shoulders. "Your mother loved you and believed in you with her whole heart. Do you remember our little trip to the forest?"
"I thought you said we weren't going to talk about that." She sighed, you knew she was still uneasy even months later. You were even still uneasy, everyone was.
"What I said was we weren't to mention it to anyone who was not there. We were both there." You ran your hands through her hair, and she nodded. "We all know you can do it, Zelda. You're strong, determined and just as courageous as anyone. You can do it."
"I just... I'm the only one who isn't ready. Even Link is ready, and he's had the least amount of time to prepare." She groaned quietly while you continued to stroke her hair, and you sighed and nodded. Her struggle was understandable but it hurt everyone. "I'm going to be the reason for our downfall."
"No you aren't." You quietly told her, pulling all of her golden hair to her back. "You are going to be the reason we're saved. The more you doubt yourself, the worse it'll get."
"Right." She released another short breath, almost immediately taking one in with all of the air of the night.

"Rhoam, you left this downstairs." Urbosa held up a little bracelet with the triforce - one of Amirah's. "I can just go put it on your dresser if you want."
"Oh, thank you, Urbosa. I'll take it." She held it out to him and set it in his open palm, which he quickly closed and held close to his chest. As he faced the outside again, letting a quiet breath out as he squeezed the bracelet. Urbosa tilted her head slightly.
"Are you doing alright?" She asked, walking over to him. "I know you and Zelda more than anyone are dreading this Calamity." She stood by his side, eyeing his expression carefully. He was not only worried, but sad. He looked out to the newborn horizon, a forlorn look on his face and in his eyes.
"I'm not doing alright." He huffed, gripping the railing as he felt even a sliver of anger mix with everything else. "I'm worried for my daughter." Urbosa looked over him, familiar with his distress but her concern for him only grew.
"We're all worried for her." She looked out with him, except she was looking out at Vah Naboris resting atop the Gerudo Highland. "She's getting stronger, Rhoam. I have faith."
