The sound of golden heels walking down the halls of the castle were muffled by the plush red carpet beneath them, and soon enough, they stopped at a set of double doors, and they were both pushed opened.

"There you are! I've been looking for you all morning." Zelda walked into her bedroom and over to where Link was, and he turned back to look and her from his spot by the balcony doors and smiled. "Are you ready?"

"Yes, of course I'm ready." He said as she reached up and began fixing the way he had his blue jacket and golden adornments, and he blushed a bit as she reached his neck and face, and when she placed both hands on his cheeks and looked over his, he smiled and did the same to hers, but then he was disappointed when she walked away.

"Alright, now that we're ready," She said, walking to her dresser to get her earrings. "We have to inform the new council and Impa that it is time for the ceremony. I've recieved news from Reese that Reeve Serlon is on his way and will be here in just a few hours."

"How much time would you say we have before the ceremony?" Link asked, walking to stand beside her while she put on her jewelry.

"It likely won't be until the afternoon. Why?" She asked, slipping on her ring before looking up at him.

"Would I have time to make an errand to the castletown?" He asked, and she looked out the window as she thought before nodding. "Alright. I'll be back shortly then." He quickly kissed her cheek before hurrying out the door, and while she wondered what he was in such a rush to do, she only shrugged and headed to the bathroom to make sure she had everything perfectly ready.

"Princess?" A woman's voice called as she walked into her room, hearing Zelda call back to her. "I'm here." Her feet made no noise as she entered, and she slipped her sword back into her scabbard quietly, hoping to not alert her with it. But it did anyways, and Zelda gasped when she looked out at her.

"Paya! You're here!" She hurried over to hug her, and Paya laughed and hugged back. "I thought you said you wouldn't be here until the ceremony started."

"Well, I guess I overestimated the amount of time my meeting would take. Also, your boyfriend scared the life outta me in the hallway a minute ago." She said, putting her other sword away as well.

"Sorry." Zelda giggled, walking back into the bathroom to put on her lipstick. "So, where's the baby?"

"Garreth stopped at his sister's house in the castletown to see how she was doing, but he'll probably be here in an hour or so." She explained, flopping down on the bed. "But still, not even a 'How are you, Paya?' or something? I'm starting to think you're more excited to see my son than you are to see me, Zelda."

"It's not that," She set her makeup down and turned back to the Sheikah woman. "I mean come on, you'd be excited too if you only got to see this cute little baby every other weekend."

"I hate to break it to you, but I spend every day with that cute little baby. In fact, I have to get up at twelve, three and six every night just to feed him and get him back to sleep." She sighed, folding her arms behind her head as Zelda sat down next to her. "In your eyes, I must be living the dream."

"I want one." Zelda smiled as she looked out at the castletown, which was thriving as it had been fifty years earlier. Fifty one as of today.

"Yeah, well, maybe you should tell Link and he can help you with that." Paya shrugged, and Zelda's face went bright red, even more so since she had blush on already. The Sheikah woman snorted, letting out a relieved breath as she looked up at the ceiling. "Anyway, how are you doing with all this coronation stuff?"
