"So... you're saying that as soon as this elixir runs out, I'll catch on fire and inevitably die." Link looked curiously at the dark purple elixir in his hand, tapping the bottle as if he had never even seen one before.

"Essentially, yes." You shrugged, climbing one of the rocks to get a better view of the area. You only had some clues as to where Goron City was supposed to be, and with the extreme heat causing everything in the distance to sort of sway and blur, you had even less ideas. "Which is why I need you to stop being slow and hurry up!"

You grabbed his arm and dragged him along with you, and as he tried to pull away, you twisted it a bit, causing him to cry out and finally yank it out of your grip.

"OW!" He shook it to try and relieve the pain a bit, and you only laughed. "You are so mean to me! Why don't you go and take that anger out on someone else? Like the people who were literally trying to kill you? GANON?"

"Oh, trust me Link, you've seen nothing yet. Besides, at the clan, I could've totally taken on Esther if I wasn't having weird hallucinations." You claimed as you started walking across a metal bridge, and Link rolled his eyes. "When we get to Hyrule Castle, I'm gonna make Ganon rue the day he arrived here, let me tell you-"

The ground started rumbling, interrupting you, and when you looked at the volcano, you saw Vah Rudania climbing across it. The Divine Beast roared loudly, and large balls of magma fell down towards you and Link. You managed to stasis a couple and shoot them away with arrows, and Link threw remote bombs at some that were slightly further away.

"One more angry Divine Beast to save, then," You shot another arrow. "We'll have all four champions saved and by our side. We still need to find Goron City though."

"Is that it down there?" Link asked, pointing down below the bridge. And of course, there was the city, blending in rather nicely with the surrounding environment. "I bet you wouldn’t have seen it if I didn't spot it out for you." The hylian champion sneered.

"Save it, hero. I probably would have seen it sooner if it weren't for your slowness." You said as you got to the other side of the bridge and started walking down the path. You heard Link snicker, and after a short walk, you made it to Goron City.

"We have to find the elder. They should know whatever we need to help appease Vah Rudania. Come on." You led him through the town, trying to figure out where the elder could've been. Then you got distracted by the armor store. "We need the armor! We can live off this elixir forever!" He complained, and you thought about it and then shrugged. "We'll take two sets of armor, please!"

After buying the armor, you both walked out now in heavy metal suits, which supposedly gave the same effect as the elixir, except it was now permanent.

"I think I like the elixir a little better..." You took a couple steps, struggling to walk, but then you noticed that Link was walking in it perfectly fine. "How do you make it look so natural?" You asked, slowly stepping over to him.

"I don't know! It just comes easy to me!" He grinned, watching you suffer as you tried to speed up your walk. "Ooh! I think that's him! The elder!" He hurried over to meet the elder, while you were still just trying to stay on your feet.

"Drat! That blasted Rudania!" The goron yelled, looking up with a glare at the Divine Beast on the mountain.

"What's wrong?" Link asked, and the elder looked down at him and huffed.

"With Rudania runnin' wild recently, Death Mountain's eruptions have gotten real bad. Do ya see Rudania stompin' around up there on the mountain? They say that half a century ago, it actually used to protect our people from harm... but that was then, and this is now! Now all it does it mess up our mining operations! We're all suffering because it's stoppin' us from doin' business!"
