"I think mother and father were right to make this decision. I couldn't find anyone better for the jobs." Zelda smiled softly as she looked up from the table to you and the four champion choices, and all of you smiled back. "Well then, I'm proud to lock in your positions until the ceremony in a few months.

"We won't let you down, Zelda." You reached your hand out for hers, and she placed hers in yours. "I thank you for this." She wanted to hug you, but just as she was going to walk around the table, Rhoam entered the room. "Oh! There you are Rhoam, we've been waiting for you."

"It took me a bit to finally make it upstairs," He breathed as Amalia giggled, tightly latched onto his leg while Kai was in his arms, playing with his beard. "I wish to have a word with you and Zelda if you have a moment."

"Of course." You both nodded, and you and others couldn't help but chuckle as the children seemed to be enjoying themselves. "Amalia and Kai really seem to love their Uncle Rhoam." He smiled as he rolled his eyes, and Amalia ran to Daruk while Kai was handed to Mipha.

"So," Rhoam started as the door was closed and you three now stood in the hallway. "With us officially done with the Yiga for now, we can start directing all of our attention to Calamity Ganon." You nodded, holding your hands together in front of you. "Zelda, I'd like as much time as you can find out towards awakening your powers. And _____, I need you to focus on finding the hero that will wield the darkness sealing sword."

"I will do my best father." Zelda nodded, giving him the best smile she could manage with the thoughts of the Calamity now running through her head, thanks to being reminded. "I will do all I can to ensure we beat Ganon."

"And I will do all I can to put promise into the destiny of our sword wielding hero. They will be found, and I will have them trained with everything I know and beyond even that." You and Zelda exchanged looks before glancing back to Rhoam, and he nodded with a smile.

"Your Aunt Janelle is currently out with your cousin, Landon, and I am going to send our soon to be champions to learn a bit about their Divine Beasts." He explained. "The pair of you may have the rest of the day off to think about this, and I will be upstairs working with Adrian and Barry if either of you need me." You all agreed to this, and the king headed upstairs.

"Revali," You started as you and Zelda walked back into the room. "You're heading to the village for the night?" He nodded, and you looked between your two children. "What about the kids?"

"I was thinking that I could take Amalia so it'll be easier for me to take her to her flight class in the morning before my training begins." Amalia leaped onto his lap in cannon ball style, and he noticed barely in time to catch her. "Besides, Kai would rather be around you anyways."

"Aw, don't say it like that." You said, leaning against the doorframe as you watched your son erupt into giggles as Daruk and Mipha played with him. "He loves to be with you, Revali, you're his father."

"Well, I didn't say he doesn't love me, obviously he does," He made a face at the baby, who went into yet another giggling fit at it. You scoffed at his pride. "Babies need to be around their mother more. He's still little. Amalia can tolerate not being with you all the time." He paused but quickly picked it back up. "And I didn't mean she doesn't love you, I-"

"Pfft, I didn't take it that way, obviously she loves me." You opened your arms for the child, who ran straight into them, and your husband snickered with an eye roll to follow. "You'll be alright with your dad at the village for a couple days, right?" She nodded with a smile, hugging you tightly. "You all should be back here by if not before the end the week. We have plans to head to Great Hyrule Forest."

"We better get back before it gets too late then." Revali got up, lifting Amalia up off the ground as Urbosa handed you Kai. "We should get ready."

~~~~
"Alright, I'll see you in a few days. I love you, sweetheart." You kissed Amalia's head, and she giggled and hugged you before going to Revali to hug her little brother, and he then set the little boy in your arms. "I love you." You whispered just before Revali leaned in to kiss you, and you smiled with the feeling of his wings around your back.
"I love you too. Don't get too... bored without me." He winked at you, sending a light blush across your face. "Heh. Fifteen years later, and I still get to you." He lifted Amalia up, and you planted another kiss on the tip of his beak. "I'll see you in a few days, dear."
"See you later, pretty bird~" You managed to say with your own wink as he walked away, shooting you one last glance with a bit of red dusting his cheek feathers, and you laughed as you walked back into your room to put Kai to bed.
You laid down on your bed with Kai on your chest, and as he fell asleep, you managed to fall asleep alongside him. You weren't too deep into your sleep, as you were awoken immediately to the sound of your door creaking open.
"Oh, I didn't mean to wake you." Zelda stepped in, about to walk about but you stopped her. "If you're tired I'll let you sleep." You gestured for her to sit.
"I have all night to sleep," You yawned, rubbing your eye. "I was just getting Kai to go to sleep first." You sat up a bit, keeping your son as still as possible so you wouldn't wake him up. "Did you need something?"
"I just wanted to ask you a bit about the plan again. How is this all going to lay out? Do we have an estimate for the day the Calamity will arrive? Do you think we have any chance of being ready?" She spouted all these questions out at once, and you had to hush her a bit.
"Zelda, we're working everything out. The plan is really to train the champions, find the wielder of the sword, and prepare you with your power." You explained to her, gently rubbing Kai's back to keep him relaxed.
"What about the Calamity?" She asked again, and to this you knew an answer you just didn't know exactly how to put it. "Do we have any idea when?"
"Rhoam thinks," You let out a breath. This information was given to him years ago by a mysterious fortune teller. Who was later thought by everyone to be Astor instead. Only making the prediction more accurate if this was true. "That it is going to happen sometime around your seventeenth birthday."
"What?! But that's so soon!" She gasped, and with Kai starting to make noises, she covered her mouth. "Sorry." She whispered as you once again tried to calm him. "I just... how are we ever supposed to be ready by then?"
"We'll think of something, Zelda. We're getting so close, and maybe had," You paused. What could have happened had you and Rhoam stuck together through all those years? If you continued to prepare earlier? "Maybe if... maybe if we keep going strong as a team now, we'll make it. I just need you to believe in us."
"And I want to try." She looked down at her hands, and you carefully lifted Kai off your chest before setting him down on the bed, and then you opened your arms for Zelda. She sat down next to you and allowed you to pull her into an embrace, and you placed a hand on her head. "I love you, Aunt _____."
"I love you too, Zelda." You rested your cheek against her head, and she leaned into your shoulder. "You can do this. I know you can." You whispered, feeling her only hug you tighter. "You're a natural born leader."
"Thank you. For believing."
